Our trust was reveiwed by Stephen Haynes. He was referred by our CPA who has served our company for many, many years. About a year after our prior legal advisor prepared our trust, he passed away and we searched for a lawyer who could handle our trust, elder affairs, beneficiaries (5 children and 5 grandchildren) and after speaking with several well known Hampton Roads, we selected Stephen Haynes. He did a thorough review of our situation, dealt with the CPA and developed a plan to assist us for our future and the future of our children and grandchildren. The deciding factor to use Stephen was the immediate sense of his honesty, expertise and responsiveness that he conveyed.

This is a top notch firm that has been serving my family for years. They have provided us with spectacular service. Their estate planning has guided us for 20 plus years. Now as an adult I am seeking out their services once again. There is no better representation or advice in the area. They have been a pleasure to work with over the years. Highly recommend

They were unable to help with the guardianship of our disabled child rather, billed us just to speak amongst each other to figure out how to proceed. SuAnne called my child 'retarded' numerous times and Doug couldn't have cared less. This was a simple matter for another law group in the area. GO ELSEWHERE

Mr Davis was attentive, patient, explained things easily without talking down to us. Office environment was professional and personable.

I worked with them several years ago, which was satisfactory. Last month I called them to reengage their services. I talked to a receptionist several times over a month, but never got a return call from the paralegal. If they don’t have time for new work, then they should empower the receptionist to say so…or spend one minute returning my calls. Ghosting clients is unacceptable.

Dan Davis has and is helping with a family trust. He has been informative and has made good suggestions for our family! I just recommended him to a friend who needs his help.

Took the time to map out the proper course after listening to what we wanted and helped me understand the many parts of an estate. Made sure corporate aspects were correct to prevent future problems. Reasonable price- absolutely worth it.
