Had the pleasure of contacting her receptionist. The receptionist told me that they couldn’t and wouldn’t help me.. I found another attorney to meet with next week. For whatever reason, Ann decided to call me at 9 o’clock at night on a Sunday to argue her receptionist decision with me. Instead of listening to a word I had to say, she decided to rattle off her ”depth of knowledge and experience” to explain that she could not help me. She seemed to like the sound of her own voice. This wasn’t requested, warranted, or appreciated. She really had no rhyme or reason for calling me. This was a very unprofessional and combative interaction and not someone I would ever hire. She spoke to me with contempt after calling me on a Sunday evening for no reason. A very abusive tactic from a business that already informed me that they would not help me.

I’m shocked at the number of 5* reviews, as that was not my experience. There are lawyers who will listen to you, show some level of understanding and empathy for the situation you’re in so they can address your defense that best suits you and your case. Ann Thayer is not one of those attorneys, at least not in my experience. I couldn’t even get out of the gate, she was rude, brash and mean, and that was just in the consultation. Based on her reviews I cautiously moved ahead but it went downhill from there and I’ve found a new lawyer. Thankfully there are great lawyers out there who will listen to you and be a supportive defender for your cause. I suggest before you engage in discussions with Ms. Thayer speak with others and the contrast will be obvious.

Ann was very effective in my case and I highly recommend her services.

Ann saved my dog (Rocky), and my criminal record. She showed her excellency on the court day, having good connection with almost everyone around the court including the prosecutor! The law enforcement officers were very strong to put penalty on me for animal impounding (leaving my dog in the car). But, Ann worked out so professionally, and gave me a surprise! It was so good to watch the beauty of a lawyer who becomes serious for the best of the client.
