I had a public intoxication charge in VA. I searched online and found (3) different defense lawyers to represent my case. Mr Pickett was the most sincere, and energetic. He also explained what likely will happen (both the best and the worst case scenario) in detail, what I need to prepare to bolster my case, and the court process in general. He was always prompt in responding my emails. When he did not have time to properly respond, he will acknowledge of my email and let me know that he will respond as soon as he can (never took more than a day though). Not just the result of my case (dropped), but also his service/conduct to his client was exceptional. I recommend Mr Pickett to anyone to at least talk and see what he/she feels. I am certain that everyone will see what I mean. Plus he lays out terms in an understandable everyday English language. He cares.

I hired Mr. Pickett to represent my son who was charged with a felony assault on a police officer and drunk in public. Mr Pickett is very good at communicating all throughout the case keeping us up to date and working with the prosecutors ahead of time to help guide my son.
