I am incredibly thankful to The Gordon Law Firm for representing me in my reckless driving case. There were about 20 cases that went before mine the day of my trial, only one of which had representation (not The Gordon Law Firm), all of them were found guilty and punished with a minimum of hefty fines, court cost, points on their license, and drivers license suspension. The one person that did have representation was also penalized with jail time. After seeing the results of the other cases I was pretty nervous when it was my turn. However, I would’ve been even more nervous had I not taken the pre-court actions Mr. Gordon recommend to lessen any potential punishment. Fortunately, Mr. Gordon worked his magic during the trial and got my case dropped. His experience in traffic court was apparent. He was knowledgeable, calm, and sure of his abilities, unlike the other attorney I saw that day. When I left the courthouse that day, there were no penalties of any kind. There is nothing on my record, I can still drive wherever and whenever I want (most importantly to work), my insurance won’t become more expensive, and I didn’t have to spend hard earned money on fines. I could not be happier with my experience working with Mr. Gordon and The Gordon Law Firm and I would recommend them to anyone in need of a lawyer for traffic court. Alex and Carlos are amazing lawyers and great guys! Because of them I have made it through 2 reckless drivings and 2 marijuana possession charges both as a juvenile and as an adult without any jail time and not a spot on my record. My most recent situation that I hired them for was one where I was pulled over for going 104 in a 65 on 66 west in Prince William County and Alex got it reduced from a reckless driving to an 86 in a 65 speeding infraction. Normally these circumstances would've elicited jail time and a misdemeanor on my record, but I was able to leave the courtroom with only having to pay a fine. Alex and Carlos really do extensive research on their cases, I remember meeting with Carlos in his office and watched him pull up precedent cases that were similar to mine at the time and explaining to me in detail what his arguments were to be for my defense. I'll never forget the time when I had a marijuana possession, and for my court date it was decided that the charges would be dropped if I could pass a drug test and complete a certain amount of community service hours by my next court date. This was when I was a juvenile and Alex gave me advice on avoiding drugs and told me I could call him if I ever felt tempted to use. Unfortunately, I never called him and ended up using and as a result, I did not meet the requirements the judge had set for me by the time the next court date came around and to remedy this Alex submitted a request for a continuance which gave me enough time to meet the requirements and the charges were eventually dropped. This was not the only time Alex was able to help me by asking for a continuance. From appealing the initial verdict of my first case which was a one year's license suspension for a reckless driving charge when I was 16, to saving me from Jail time on my most recent case, I am extremely thankful for each and every time Alex and Carlos have came to my aid. They even offered me a considerable discount on my last case since I was a former client. They really help their clients by suggesting which steps to take before your court date in order to be in the best standing possible before you go in front of a judge and Alex in particular is very charismatic and kind which has allowed him to create and maintain good relationships with prosecutors, police officers, and judges within the Fairfax, Prince William, and Loudon County jurisdictions. Alex told me that he and Carlos have helped deliver favorable outcomes to thousands of clients for a variety of different charges, mainly DUI, reckless driving, and possession charges, although they specialize in DUI and reckless. They're prices are reasonable but I don't think they are the cheapest you could find out there. You are definitely paying for unrivaled quality when you hire one of these guys. After more than 2 years of trying to work to resolution on our own, when faced with a Homeowners Association that would not enforce covenants regarding all terrain vehicles (ATVs) we called Fox and Moghul. We scheduled a consultation with Mr. Terry Fox who immediately reassured us that he was confident in resolving the situation with the neighbors and HOA. After he and his team researched the appropriate statutes he issued the offending parties a “cease and desist” letter. Previously the offenders had ignored our requests as well as direction from Deputy Sheriffs. However immediately upon receiving the detailed cease and desist letter from Mr. Fox the offenders stopped trespassing and continue to comply. Mr. Fox also sent a letter to the President of the HOA demanding that the Association meet their lawful obligation and responsibility to uphold the covenants. Had it not been for the thoroughness and follow through of this law firm we would still be faced with the liability should someone have been injured on our property. I cannot thank Mr. Fox and his associates enough for what they have done to help resolve a most difficult situation. The Fox and Moghul firm were extraordinarily attentive, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. They have my highest recommendation and I will not hesitate to seek their services in the future.
