I just finished a lengthy divorce process with Livesay & Myers. Ms. Haight and Ms. Spurgeon are a phenomenal team! I used this firm in particular as I needed someone who understood military divorces/laws and they certainly have that experience! They are honest, professional and I am very pleased with the services I received. I would absolutely use them again in the future if needed.

Mariah and Rossimar helped me through my contempt and custody matters. They are both amazing and I absolutely recommend them. They made sure to explain everything to me in detail and what options were available, all while respecting the time (money) it took to respond to all my many questions. Over the years I met with a few different attorneys for this matter, but did not feel comfortable with any of them until I met with Mariah for my consultation with Livesay & Myers. Mr. Simms is by far the best attorney I have ever had to represent me. I was charged with a petit larceny charge, that could have cost me my entire life. It was a “wrong place, wrong time” kind of circumstance. He drove 4 hours to represent me, and that alone, shows what kind of attorney he is. I've had a great experience working with Michael Poe and Theresa Jacobsen. I followed Michael from a previous firm to now Livesay & Myers because I trust his guidance and expertise. He represented me through my divorce and family matters over the last 5 years and has always been the utmost professional. Theresa was also great to work with. Theresa was kind, professional, and responsive to all my questions and concerns. I highly recommend this duo for legal matters and would use them again, if ever needed.

They helped me alter a very unfair divorce decree and settle some back spousal support payments that I had missed. Ms. Anderson (my lawyer) and Ms. Membreno (her paralegal) were always able to answer my questions in a timely fashion, we mainly communicated through email. They did an outstanding job helping me out from under the very heavy financial burden I had "negotiated" for myself when I (mistakenly) thought I could handle my own divorce without legal counsel. Word to the wise from someone who learned the hard way; Family Law lawyers are absolutely worth the price. From a price standpoint, their rates are reasonable, especially for the excellent level of service I recieved. It's said that the true test of a decision is "Would you make the same choice again, knowing the outcome?" In this instance, if I had to do it all over again, I would absolutely hire Livesay & Myers, P.C. without a second thought.
