My experience with this firm involving a custody matter has been 1st Class. My attorney, Brianna Salerno, listened to my family matter and took the time to completely understand my situation. Ms. Salerno guided me towards thoughtful, caring, and logical solutions there were aligned with my intent and within the best interests of my family. I recommend Livesay & Myers to anyone in the Maryland/Virginia corridor that wants effective work without breaking the bank. I accomplished what I had to set out to do quickly and at fair billing. Kudos!

Robin makes the mediation experience as tolerable as possible. She helps each side better see the other's perspective, and then guides to the compromises necessary for a mediation to succeed. I would highly recommend!

I recently settled with my wife in mediation, with Matthew Smith from Livesay and Meyers as my attorney. My initial impression of Matthew was that he shared my strong preference towards settling out of court without nastiness, but could fight when and if necessary. I also thought he would handle my case with integrity and work to save me money. I'm happy to say that every prediction I had came true. I found Matthew and everyone else and Livesay & Meyers highly competent, honest, direct, and effective. Matthew charged the highest hourly rate of any attorney I met with (there are many who charge more, I just didn't meet with them) and I believe I am in a better position as we conclude my divorce for having hired him.

It was great working with Laila and Gigi. Their consistent attention, detail and follow up were greatly appreciated, especially with a delay on my end due to personal matters. No words to say they are so efficient and prompt in each and everything. I went to Livesay & Myers and worked with Ms. Caitlin Higgins and her paralegal Michelle Evans. During the consultation, Ms. Higgins was very informative and made sure to set clear and realistic expectations. I also found it commendable that she gave me tips on how to save money and get the most "bang for my buck." Both Ms. Higgins and Ms. Evans were very responsive to emails and phone calls and I was never left wondering the status of my case. Ms. Higgins and Ms. Evans assisted me with a Separation Agreement to include marital property and custody of a minor child. Their expertise and level of effort led to a very favorable outcome from my perspective.
