I came to Livesay & Myers for an uncontested divorce during a very trying time. Circumstances were very personal and sensitive, but the situation was handled in a way that took a lot of the emotion out of it for me, which I appreciated. Midway through the process my attorney left the firm and I was transferred to Ms. Raheen. I was concerned; however, the transition was seamless. Ms. Raheen was understanding, professional, and put me at ease. When I had questions I primarily worked with Margaret 'Gigi' Stanley (paralegal). She was quick to respond and very supportive - even when I asked the same question more than once! I was kept up to date from a billing stand point and always knew where things stood. Ms. Raheen and Ms. Stanley were great and as a result I had less to worry about. I would definitey recommend them and Livesay & Myers.

I came to Livesay & Myers during a time of high distress. I honestly did not want to file for divorce but Matthew Smith, in his patience, worked out a Marital Settlement Agreement on my behalf. It was a drawn out process, but Matthew Smith and his paralegal Caitlin Wilkinson was always there with clear and concise legal advice. The dissolution of marriage with someone that you loved or still love can be extremely difficult for anyone no matter what the rational. Each party can go through a multitude of feelings across the spectrum of human emotion. My separation was under good terms, as good as it could be under the circumstances, but there was still that feeling of loss of a partner. You don't ever go into marriage thinking about divorce.
