After reading positive reviews on Ann Luu from Kelly Byrnes and Danker, I sought her services with great anticipation. However, my experience did not match that of the other reviewers, causing me to wonder how they were all overwhelmingly pleased with her services. While I appreciated the professionalism and respectfulness of the other staff members who assisted AL with my case, I often felt that she lacked a complete understanding or even a modicum of empathy toward my family dynamics and personal circumstances. Although I engaged her services for legal advice, I frequently questioned whether she was acting as my advocate. Despite the clear instances of neglect, abuse, and fraud that led to the divorce, I received no moral support or acknowledgment of the abuse that my children and I endured throughout the years. I had hoped for her to work on my behalf in the entire negotiation process. Consequently, I decided to use her services only until I could manage the rest with someone else, which proved to be more professional and respectful. It is advisable to interview several lawyers and make an informed decision. Nowadays, basic legal advice is readily available from the county court library, attorney-operated websites, and online legal services. The attorney you choose should understand your marriage, divorce, children, situation, and the vulnerability that arises during the entire process, providing comprehensive legal advice and striving to understand you as a person, not just a financial resource.
