Tonya Gibbs Penn is the exception, not the rule. Not only did she have tremendous compassion with our case, but she also proved to be a brilliant attorney who demonstrates a true interest in her clients and their cases. We live in Nashville and wanted someone to represent us who would really care about our case. Trust was an important factor because our case was in Virginia and we’re in Tennessee, about ten hours from court. Ms. Penn not only made sure that we understood the specifics of our current case, but she also explained what we would need to expect going forward. She never ignored any communication or kept us guessing. She was forthright and highly responsive. More importantly, no one else would’ve been so willing to peel back the layers of the case and ask the questions that she asked in order to get the best information to help us better prepare for the future. As we look to 2021, we hope to return to Tonya Gibbs Penn for family law representation and know that if we have her on our side, we’ll be able to enter court with the assurance that she will be fighting for us the whole way. If there’s ever been a God-send in a legal battle, Ms. Penn was and is a true blessing to our family. Even now, a day later, we’re still talking about how lucky we were to find her. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Ms. Gibbs and her office have been. I needed a very specific custody modification to ensure the safety of my son. So in my world it meant everything to not only have help with this but to also have it done as quickly as possible. Ms. Gibbs stayed in constant communication with me and helped me feel at ease. In my legals struggles I was struggling to find good solid honest legal representation. Ms. Gibbs has been all of these things. There is no better attorney out there in my opinion. Tonya was extremely helpful in our situation. She communicated frequently and clearly throughout our encounter and was extremely friendly and kind. She understood our unusual family circumstance and was very accomodating to our needs. We had tied to work with another attorney in the area who was far less interested in our needs and issue and more concerned about billing and fees.
