My divorce took 4.5 year to resolve (due primarily to reasons outside of our control). Ben Carafiol and Ashley Constant were with me from start to finish and I could not have asked for a better team. It was a true partnership all the way. They were always responsive and Ben took great pains to ensure that my costs remained as low as possible. Ashley was prompt and professional with every question and request. Ben never sugar-coated anything. He always gave me clear, honest answers and explanations, and stayed positive and professional during the most trying moments. I don't ever intend to marry again (!), but if I do, I will go to Ben and Ashley at Livesay & Myers for the pre-nup! Thanks, y'all!!

So I have bittersweet experience with this firm. My case (s) were probably not like most and way more crazy. I would say in the beginning this firm did well. But overtime I felt more like an atm than a person going through some really tough legal drama. My attorney from this firm personally I feel is a good attorney, they were just waaay to overworked with other clients and couldn't focus on my case in the manner I felt they should have. I never got the personal involvement with my case I felt I deserved. In my opinion if you have alot of money then you will get rapid responses, and those responses will dwindle as your case goes on and the money starts to dry up. There is nothing more troubling then having calls go unanswered or questions/directions not being heeded. In my opinion the attorneys at this firm are juggling too many clients and aren't able to adequately focus and be prepared for each individual case, often with dire consequences. I wish I could recommend them, but I really just cant. I was never treated unkindly and was always treated professionally when I did get a response. The 3 attorneys I've worked with from this firm were in my opinion capable and good, but just juggling too many clients.

Ben and Ashley are simply fantastic. The best way to know if you have a good lawyer is if your lawyer will tell you what you need to hear, not just what you want to hear. Ben is a good lawyer. My divorce was a long, tedious process but Ben and Ashley helped every step of the way with professionalism, courtesy and respect. I am confident that the results of my divorce would not have been as positive if I were working with anyone else. To be clear, everyone loses in a divorce, but having the most desirable outcome for yourself starts with having the right people to work in your best interests. Ben and Ashley do that through helping you understand your options (even if you do not like them) in a kind and calming way while always striving for the best possible outcome. If anyone is reading this and is on the fence about retaining their services, don't.
