Since my divorce in 2014, I have done nothing but hire attorney's and give out money and waiving my all my military rights to retirement and still six years later still going back to court to fix things that were not finished and completed as promised. I hired Ben Carafiol from Livesay & Myers and I was in shock walking out of the courtroom. First court date Ben did his homework and research and left everyone speechless from the beginning. Sarah Patras was worth every penny. She really listened to my concerns and helped me figure out what was best for me and my situation. Every email was answered fairly right away and I never had to sit and wait. The process went by a lot more quickly than I was expecting as well. I do not recommend. I met with one of their lawyers for a divorce consultation, paid the $150. Didn't get much for answers. I should have come more prepared but didn't have a lot information due to my husband and I not talking and no actual complaint filed yet. I was told she would email me the packages to go forward with the case and never heard from her again. She recommended I try to talk to my husband, which I did and emailed her the results of the discussion...no reply. I called the office 10 days later to try to get ahold of her, left my email for her to respond...no response ever. I'm not sure if she didn't have time for new clients or just wanted to pick up bigger, more expensive cases, but either way, it would have saved me a lot of time, effort, and money if she would have been honest from the beginning. Just my personal experience, but I felt like it was a very unprofessional experience with this firm.
