Lawyer hates losing lol he will lie to prove his point he said he don’t like me lol little guy you know you talk crazy to people in a court setting ONLY just not a good lawyer I loved watching him lose he gave me a reason to not do anything wrong so I guess thanks for that tough guy

Wasn’t really in the best interest of the child, only was interested in lies that sounded good. Completely ignored the concerns of the child, I really don’t understand the reason for a GALs when he goes off what the adult parties evidence that’s provided. He seems portray to have the best interest in the child but turns out to be completely opposite. Failed my child horribly, I pray for anyone else that has to come in contact with Mr. Phillips. This man need to be removed from the bar of practicing law. He clearly has no clue on what he's doing and tries to badger people instead of knowing the truth. His childhood must have been hard. I think he gets off on trying to make people life a living **** also. I pray he doesn't have kids and if he does they give him a world of chaos. Don't use him run from him and his advice. As other reviews I think he lacked a lot in his childhood he's pathetic

HE IS VERY VERY ONE SIDED AND IF HE CARED ABOUT THE WELL BEING OF THE CHILD HE WOULD BE MORE OPEN. HE INVESTIGATED THINGS THAT HAVE ZERO TO DO WITH THE CASE!!!

He’s an very prejudice man. He dug into things that have nothing to do with my case and when i questioned why he needs to know he tried to throw it in my face! James is the definition of fake and conniving. It seems like he is lacking love from his parents and chose this career to make every parent miserable. He’s an horrible person

Very one sided, very prejudice against minorities. He will dig into things that have nothing to do with the case and when you question why he needs to know certain information he throws it in your face that you have to tell him or he will bring it to the judge that you’re hiding information. James will take the side of whomever he likes more and doesn’t care to hear anything else except who he favors. HORRIBLE PERSON, he may be lacking the love from his father and chose this as his career to fill the void.. a miserable soul, a liar, and highly untrustworthy.

James Phillips is a great attorney who is very diligent and goes the extra mile for his clients.

I hired James Phillips to represent me in the Hampton JDR court for visitation and child support. He wasn't my first choice but his partner (who was in the process of retiring) wasn't taking any new cases. I had a pre existing case that needed revisiting based on changing circumstances. James Phillips has somehow managed to actually erode my rights and privileges to my children. He is completely incompetent and would better serve society of he found another line of work. If you care at all about seeing your children, do not, under any circumstances, hire this man.
