Caleb did a great job explaining the issues at hand and got the job done. Not sure how, but he did and it was a very happy ending!!!

I unfortunately have had to retain legal counsel a few more times than I care to admit in my life. I have been burned in the past by lawyers that will take a flat fee and provide a resolution that makes their work load easier, as opposed to looking out for their client's best interests. This was most certainly not the case when I retained the counsel of attorneys William "Ben" Mann, and Caleb Kershner. I can easily call them "the dynamic duo" when talking about representation in Loudoun County. I had contacted Mr. Mann just 6 days prior to my hearing, his response to my e-mail was prompt and professional. He stayed in constant communication with me until he had a full grasp on my circumstances. Mr. Mann gave me an honest evaluation and took the time to listen to my whole situation. It was not black and white to him, he understood the nuances that made my case specific to me, and gave me real expectations, while keeping my goals in mind. That following Monday, he had been booked with another case, since I contacted on such short notice. He sent his partner in his stead, Mr. Caleb Kershner, Mr. Kershner had been fully briefed, and came prepared to the courthouse as if he had done my intake himself. He thoroughly investigated my record, and payments to the courthouse, before stepping into the conference room to talk terms with the prosecutor. I was facing a third driving on suspended, a charge that carried a ten day mandatory minimum jail sentence, a 6 month re-suspension of my license, that I had restored in the meantime, and possibly a violation of my probation that could have resulted in me serving any portion the court seemed fit of the 2 and a half years prison sentence still hanging over my head. With Mr. Kershner's knowledge of Virginia's statutes, and an amazing relationship worth every penny I paid, and more, with the arresting officer and prosecutor, he came out with a deal that ended up with a reduced charge. But that still wasn't good enough for Mr. Kershner, he worried the misdemeanor they offered me could still effect my probation, and after calling my supervising officer himself, and confirming that it may, he went back to the table for me. He came back out with the charge ultimately reduced to a traffic offense, the equivalent of a speeding ticket. There was no jail time, no re-suspension of my license, no misdemeanor on my record, and no effect on my probation! This was an outcome I didn't imagine even in my wildest of dreams of scenarios. I walked into court that day prepared to walk away in cuffs, and Mr. Mann and Mr. Kershner had me walking out of there singing the lord's praises. If I could give this team of young, intelligent, competent, and ambitious attorneys 6 stars out 5, I would. They are worth every penny and more, and I will always recommend them to anyone who I come across that needs legal counsel. I had not one, not two, but three speeding tickets all teetering the line of reckless driving within a 6-week period in 3 separate jurisdictions! (I know I have a problem). I had contacted numerous lawyers in Virginia and all of them either said I didn't have a chance, were so costly or gave me the run around. Caleb's interpersonal skills and professionalism really put me at ease. He was not judgmental, gave me a great deal on cost and has a great personality. Even when I was having anxiety over the weekend and sent him a text about court the upcoming week, Caleb had a plan of action to reassure me everything was going to be ok. He never made promises that he could make them all go away, but promised he would try his best! Best is what he did! The first ticket of speeding 19 mph I received a defective equipment and the corresponding fine. The second ticket of 20 mph I was placed on a step-docket with a plea agreement of not having any other violations within 6 months. The 3rd ticket was speeding again at reckless speed was in a school zone. Although, he wasn't able to make the charge just go away he did get it reduced from 6 points to 4 points. So in total I was facing 18 points and walked away with 4. Who else can do that for you at Caleb's price? No one! I ran across another gentleman who had similar tickets as mine in Virginia during a random discussion. Turns out he had Caleb as well and could not speak highly enough about how thankful he was for Caleb getting his tickets thrown-out/reduced. All in all Caleb is your best bet for a lawyer, especially with traffic violations. Hopefully, I won't need him again, but if I do he will always be my first and only choice!

Caleb was definitely great at explaining everything that I wasn't sure of. In the beginning before I had even met him, he made sure to be somewhere on his day off. I appreciated that. Altho for me personally, it was a tad expensive, it was all worth it in the end. My criminal case was very confusing but he still managed to get me out of It. We never had to go to trial so I didn't really didn't get to see him in action, but I'm sure he did what he had to do behind the scenes. Staff was always professional and nice. If anything ever came up again in VA. I wouldn't hesitate to call!
