I was a busy graduate college student at UVA (taking 21 credits in a semester) , came in to a situation with speeding between Charlottesville and the DC. I asked Patrick for some guidance of what to do and he rest assured I will be alright with the case. Long and behold he solved the case and did not made me stress out so much with this situation. I am super grateful and thankful for him.

I retained Patrick Woolley to represent my case for being cited for reckless driving 100 mph in a 55 zone. Let me state for the record that I do recognize the irresponsible nature of my violation. Now allow me to explain my case and why I hired Patrick.
On 9/8/2022, I was traveling to work in my 2021 Hyundai Elantra on route 28 northbound in the left lane toward the Waxpool Road exit, as I have for 8 years. The weather conditions were clear, and rather unusually, so were the traffic conditions, to the extent there was literally no vehicles on the road next to, in front, or relatively close behind. After passing the Sterling boulevard exit and taking observation there were no vehicles on the road at all, I made the unintelligent decision to depress my accelerator pedal for a few seconds. I was in 6th gear, didn’t downshift, and just held the pedal down for a few moments. As the Waxpool Road exit became visible in my approaching view, I noticed the vehicle in the rear of the pack of vehicles about to take the exit applied his brakes rather hard. I didn’t want to approach the cars too quickly or unsafely, so I gradually applied my brakes slowing down accordingly. At this point the vehicle was too far ahead to identify what type of vehicle it was. Once I slowed down to the speed limit, the vehicle pulled off to the shoulder. When I got close enough, I was able to identify the vehicle was a state trooper. As I approached the trooper, he initiated his emergency lights to pull me over shortly after I passed him. I pulled over, turned off my ignition, and waited for the trooper to approach my window. He asked for my license, which I wanted his permission before reaching for it. He said it was ok, so I retrieved my license from the center console and handed it to him (Officer Middleton). He then asked me if there was any reason I was traveling 100 mph (I had no idea I was going 100mph). I told him I was going to be perfectly honest and there was no reason for it. I explained to him, though be it no excuse, due to the fact there was absolutely no one on the road at that point in time, I took advantage of it and accelerated the car for a few moments. He went back to his car, wrote the ticket, and asked me again when he got back to my window. I told him the same reason as before. No excuse, just took advantage of the road being clear. As illogical as it sounds, I only did it because I presented no danger or safety risk to anyone on the road but myself. I understand that sounds like I am not worried about myself, or who I would leave survived behind, but I genuinely do. I care about myself, wife, kids, and family. I felt there was minimal risk involved considering I was on a straight open road.
I came across Patrick on lawfirm.net and was impressed by his reviews. After further research, I came to the conclusion Patrick genuinely cares about appropriate legal representation of clients in need of defense against the highly biased state government. I was very impressed with his decision to forgo an opportunity to work for the FBI, and instead, apply his skills to represent citizens in need. This stood out to me.
The day of my case 3/21/2023, Patrick explained to me the agreement reached with the prosecutor was a $150 fine, no suspension or restriction of my license, and no community service, though the class 1 misdemeanor stuck, which I wasn't concerned with. I was thrilled. I was facing up to a $2,500 fine and 10 days in jail. He actually apologized and said that was the best he could do. I laughed and told him I was most concerned with serving jail time. I was concerned with retaining my employment and the impression on my kids of having to go to jail. I didn't expect the fine reduction, suspension of jail time, or keeping my license or no community service. He far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend retaining Patrick. You won't find a better attorney. I guarantee you.

I was charged with reckless driving of 90/70 in Fauquier County. I consulted with several lawyers and Mr. Woolley was the only one who wanted to fight for a complete dismissal of my case. And he finally did it! The case was dismissed without me even needing to personally appear in court. Mr. Woolly is very professional, and he got the best result for me, so I would highly recommend him.

I live over 500 miles away and got a speeding ticket driving through Virginia. I was looking at the possibility of a large fine and time off work to go back to VA for court. Patrick and the team handled everything, save me a ton of time and money, and got the charges lowered to the minimum. Literally saved me thousands. Highly recommend!

As an out of state driver I was worried about how VA’s strict speeding penalties would affect me. Mr. Woolley was friendly, understanding, and helpful from the very start. He was willing to answer any of my questions, even responding after hours. In the end he got my ticket completely dismissed, which was more than I’d hoped for. Would recommended.

Patrick Woolley is great! I have never hired a lawyer before and was scared of the process. He was very helpful during the free 30-minute consultation and provided me with real advice & steps to take before my court hearing. Moreover, he followed up with resources to get started once hired. I am very happy with my experience and am glad to not have any criminal record! I highly recommend his services.
