I retained Eric Demetriades for my son's case and it was the best decision I ever made! Eric is professional, respectful, empathic, goal oriented, and will go above and beyond to the best of his abilities. He is honest, upfront and doesn't sugar coat, nor does he judge you or your mistakes. You can put your confidence in him and know he will fight for your case, no matter the mountain you're facing. With dignity, honor, and grace you are not let down. When my 19 year old brother was arrested with a large amount of marijuana, cash and some other drugs on a Friday night, we were unable to contact an attorney all weekend. He was denied bail on Monday afternoon. Eric was my brother’s court appointed lawyer and was able to get him bailed out immediately after taking on the case and worked with us and guided us throughout six months after. My brother was able to avoid any jail sentence and was assigned a probation only. We are so grateful for all pf Eric’s help, he did all of this without a fee as well. My situation was very bad. I was facing multiple felonies and several misdemeanors after one bad night. I had no where turn and know I needed the best possible lawyer. I was truly blessed to have found Eric and his firm. Throughout my whole ordeal I had been stressed and having extreme anxiety. Eric was able to make me feel optimistic and gave me hope. I had a hellish year after misusing prescription drugs, and ended up with multiple DWI’s, and possibly three felony offenses. Eric was able to reduce my DWI offenses. After following his advice on what to do to lessen the sentencing on the felony charges, he actually persuaded the prosecutors to dismiss all the charges. I can’t recommend him highly enough. His professional advice and behavior literally gave me a second chance at a fresh start. I was also struck by his compassion and non judgmental attitude all during the progress. It took nearly a year and a half to get through the legal issues, and he never lost his cool with me or my charges. Our son recently had to go to court for a reckless driving charge. This was the first time our son had a traffic infraction and we were nervous regarding the outcome. I am very thankful that we retained Eric. Eric met us at court and immediately put my mind at ease. His knowledge of the juvenile process and key relationships contributed to a favorable outcome for our son. I would highly recommend Eric to anyone.

I had a felony and two misdemeanors charged against me. Eric was able to get the felony completely nolle processed along with one of the other misdemeanors in exchange for a no contest plea. I was dead to rights on the felony and was scared that I would end up with a conviction, but to my surprise he worked something out with the prosector that resulted in an awesome outcome! All charges dismissed in exchange for 2 years probation sounds good especially when the felony is completely nolle processed!

So I found myself arrested & jailed for driving under the influence ( prescription pills). My family arranged to meet with Eric shortly after my release from jail. I didn’t have a clue about how to handle this legal mess. Eric solved the problem very effectively. I admired how short and direct how Eric laid out the facts of my case and strategy. The cost was around $2,500 (well worth it). I believe from the time of my arrest to the actual sentencing was 5 months? I hardly spoke to Eric. The conversations we did have were brief and he did not present me with any hypotheticals regarding my potential court sentence. I admit it was annoying but understandable at the same time. Eric wasn’t just handed a garden variety DUI case regarding my charges. I had been under the influence of a controlled substance. This type of case hadn’t actually played out with the local prosecutor. Eric had to use a variety of tactics and resources going about arguing my case. The outcome was surreal. Eric negotiated a deal that dropped the the DUI and reckless charges. Instead i was charged with a lesser “ controlled substance” possession... I can’t tell you how much of a lifesaver Eric’s services were. I’d say he was worth every dollar in then some.. Let’s face it the old adage “‘ You pay for what you get” holds truth in the legal system. I’ll use Eric forbid anything ever comes up in an instance..
