Great experience, Patrick (the leading lawyer) is very knowledgeable and helpful. I got the result from my clearance hearing that I wanted. The research gathering was intense. I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 because I was working with an assistant lawyer and she left. I think the transition could have been smoother. That is it and that wouldn’t be a problem for anybody else. Patrick/Alex were responsive to all calls and messages. His firm helped me understand the process and helped make it less scary. The cost was very reasonable and the charges were itemized and very detailed. I had a wonderful experience and would recommend him for anyone who needed a lawyer in the DoD government space.

I lost my husband in a very traumatic and tragic way when our family was stationed overseas. Our 2 1/2 year-old son & I were sent back to the U.S. to rebuild our entire lives. With numerous errors on the military's end with missing or outdated documents, our son & I were struggling to move forward in every single way without the help of an advocate to assist us stateside. In addition to the many obstacles I faced with our lives being uprooted in a foreign country, grieving & processing the loss of my soulmate, and living a nightmare on earth all the while trying to raise a young child on my own without any help, I was informed that the SGLI was incorrect and my husband's life insurance was paid to his ex-wife. This was a HUGE error on the part of the military because they had followed an SGLI that was over 7 years old and void.
