Their team made certain I'd understand what could and couldn't be accomplished in the moment, but offered sound alternatives to pursue my intended goals. The law can be overwhelming for the average citizen with a solid grasp on the intricacies involved therein. I'd recommend ALWAYS having an attorney present for ANY legal issues. Joe Sanzone represented me when I was pretty much still a dumb kid at 18. I had no prior record and had never had any interaction with police. Unfortunately for me, I had a family with a felon who strong armed robbed a man in miller park long ago. This ex partner was also involved in illegal drug use and became abusive to me and our children. I tried to leave the situation with my kids and was stopped by this ex and his family who were all ex convicts. It was three against one and Sanzone didnt do anything to dig deeper or bring up the records of these criminals who were all related and the witnesses who testified against me. Sanzone let the prosecution come up a political plea bargaining chip and I got convicted. It threw me into a deep depression and series of lifestyle with severe psychiatric issues. Sanzone took money from my family knowing that he was not going to fight for my case. I am reporting him to the board. I'm no longer that weak young kid who is afraid. Im an adult now and I recognize criminals even when they wear suits and sit on the other side of the table. I hope to bring to light the injustice that Sanzone committed against my family in hopes this does not happen to any other citizen. EVER.

If I could go back I wouldn’t of hired Sanzone. He kept appealing my case, charging me more money for a simple case which I still got charged for. Now he’s charging me $1200 for “ Expenses” my case was almost 3yrs ago. You’re better off with a public defender, he’s not worth it!
