I retained Rebecca Thatcher to represent me in an ugly custody dispute. I had the unfortunate experience of getting hit head-on by a drunk driver in Manassas in 2021. Being only 23 at the time, and having never been in a car accident before, — this was new territory for me, and I knew I needed to hire an attorney. I came across Mr. Kevin Locklin and Mr. Brian Coleman and requested a consultation. Not only did Mr. Locklin call me the same day I filled out the request form, but he also offered to meet me in person to discuss my case the day before Thanksgiving, when most are spending time with their families. The first question he asked me was not, can you tell me more about your case, or what are you looking for, it was "How are you doing, and how are you feeling?" His caring approach immediately reassured me that hiring their firm to represent me was the right decision. When my presence was requested at the driver's criminal hearing, Mr. Coleman accompanied me to court to make sure I felt comfortable, as I had never been to court before. This is not something he had to do, but he offered to do so, which I highly appreciated. My case was finally settled today, and I am very happy with the outcome. Mr. Coleman was always in communication with me about my case and provided updates. He is very sharp, and his thoroughness in the work that he does reassures you that he will advocate for your best interest. I really felt like he valued me as more than just a client, but as a person. He was always extremely pleasant to interact with, and you could just tell he really wanted the best for me. While the experience of getting in a head-on collision with a drunk driver is a horrible one, The Law Offices of Locklin & Coleman made the outcome of this experience one I can happily put behind me.
