Anna and Courtney were super helpful during a super stressful time. They were very responsive and professional and always answered my questions. I would definitely recommend these two if you are in the Prince William County area!

Incredibly professional and responsive. We had what I thought might be a legal situation which turned into an emergency for us at the eleventh hour. We had had no time to prepare. I frantically called the firm at the very end of the day to see whether we needed an attorney (a call I should have made days earlier.) The very patient woman who answered my call spent a good amount of time taking down all the details of the situation including my "burning" questions and promised to call me back the next day. Not only did she call me back, but she again took the time to convey to me the information I was so desperately looking for. Turns out it wasn't a legal matter, so it wasn't like I was going to become a client, yet she still was incredibly helpful. Her responsiveness and kindness were such a blessing to me. I would highly recommend this firm!

Shirley has been on top of EVERYTHING! She is a great listener and responds quickly to all my emails and messages. Definitely has gone above my expectations. I have also worked with Matt for a different case and he has also been great.

I came across Shirley Chim when I needed her the most.  I had just left an abusive relationship and was about to have an emergency custody hearing.  Shirley was able to meet with me almost immediately and was able to take my case.  As is the situation a lot of the time, I had many things to overcome.  The law firm is a close knit team which allows them to work together in formulating a plan to move forward.  Ms. Chim truly cares about her clients which is evident by her checking to see how everyone is doing.  It does not matter if it is the weekend, if she needs to work on your case, she does it without hesitation.  She has assisted me with finding housing and other resources that I need.  I find that Ms. Chim and her law firm have been respectful and diligent in their handling of my case.

I am not sure how they made a difficult situation enjoyable, but they absolutely did. Anna Bristle and Courtney Reheiser are rock stars. They went way above and way beyond what I expected. They legitimately cared about me as a client. Always prompt, always on target, and extremely patient. I hope I never have to use them again, but enthusiastically leap at the opportunity to recommend them to anyone. True professionals with hearts of gold. I will forever be grateful. -Brian-

My experience with Shirley Chim has been amazing. She has helped me through a very stressful Divorce, all while I am dealing with health disabilities.I really don't know where I would be right now without her representation. Hiring her as my Lawyer was one of the best choices I have made in a very long time. She really cares and looks out for her clients.

Anna represented me during my custody/child support case , she was professional, calming and truly gave me the confidence I needed when dealing with a such a stressful situation. Anna guided me through the whole process and always answered my questions and truly cared for what was happening in my life. If I had to go through it again I would use her no doubt! Thank you Anna!

If I could give this a negative rating, I would. I used Mrs. Anna Bristle for a child custody case. Mrs. Bristle appears to be a nice, intelligent, "on your side" type lawyer, but this is far from true. She is a "mommy" lawyer and claims that the judges in Manassas are "mommy judges." Well during the seven month period that she was hired, I continued to ask for the discovery from the other parent. She always talked over it and never presented it to us. I had to ask for invoices several times and did not receive the first one for five months. She was no thoroughly familiar with the case scrambling for answers and unorganized when representing in court. She told me that I didn't need to come to court because it was cancelled, but yet I was still charged for it. The other parent attended court, that was supposedly cancelled, and so was Mrs. Bristle. She charged for court and speaking to the other party. Yet, she did not give any documentation concerning what was said or anything for that particular day. Soon after that, I voiced all of my concerns. Instead of trying to make me feel better about the inconsistencies and concerns, she was untruthful and made excuses that can be proven by email and other means. Once I received the file after she no longer represented me, I started realizing why the discovery was never given to me. She had allowed the other parent to notarize it and submit it without answers. We were charged for creating, submitting, and receiving/reviewing this discovery that had nothing on it. There were other things in the file that I had been asking for but she never gave them to me as her client. There was also something in an invoice that we were charged for but was not in the file and we asked her about it. But of course, this was not addressed when asked after the fact. RUN!!!!!! She is a mediator not a lawyer and can not be trusted.

Over the past 15 years, I've had 4 different attorneys on my family law case, when the only attorney we ever should have had is Attorney Matt Davis! There are not enough words in the English dictionary or thesaurus that could describe the person he is. From the beginning till the end of our latest case, although we were without question not his only client, he 100% made us feel like we were the only client. Thank you Matt for all you did for us. Our family is a million times better because of you!

I have been working with Anna, Courtney, and Matt at Bristle Law for the past couple of months in regards to my divorce and custody case. They are wonderful! They are very professional as well as caring and are very receptive to my needs. I recently had to go to court due to an issue that wasn't part of my initial divorce/custody agreement. Matt Davis accompanied me to court and he was absolutely amazing! He is a shark in the court room and ultimately won my case. I always doubted the high costs associated with attorney fees but you definitely get what you pay for with the Bristle team. They are very responsive and in a timely matter, they even answer my emails on the weekends. I highly recommend them and I look forward to continuing my business with them until my hearings are concluded.
