I had my first consult today. My husband and I were nervous going in because our case isn’t easy. I have never felt more humiliated and discriminated. The way Lisa spoke down to us was inappropriate and just uncalled for. Lisa never once introduced herself or made eye contact with us. Was very awkward and unprofessional from the start. The statements she provided were racist and inappropriate. In several occasions she kept asking about money we had stashed and that we couldn’t tell her we didn’t because her workers do the same and have houses in other countries. She mentioned another client did the same occupation as my husband and knew the amount of money he made. She stated you may not want to go back to your country but Mexico is a big country and we could live elsewhere Lisa made us feel unvalued. To keep throwing around you have been a lawyer for 20+ years and the list goes on. She even mentioned our county wasn’t heavy with ICE so we would be ok, I guess now she is law enforcement too. I totally respect honesty even if it’s not news you want to hear, but this wasn’t just that. Worst immigrant lawyer we have encountered.
