He seemed eager to take my case but then probably realized he couldnt make much money on me so he stopped there. I filed the appeal myself and did work that his office was supposed to do. I didnt hear from him for months except when i owed him money.

After hiring this attorney for a workers compensation matter Kernbach failed me greatly in my case. Communication was terrible. He is not an aggressive attorney, when I needed help and things got tough he treated my case like a side job. In short, he did a half job. I strongly recommend that readers of this review do not hire this attorney.

I initially contacted Mr. Kernbach to sue the lawyer that represented me in 2012, his advice was to not pursue the suit because I'd likely lose and then end up owing Michael for defense fees as well.

This guy does not respond to you, all you do is keep calling his secretary and she says he is busy, he is not available, he is on vacation. I think he just close a contract with you and then goes to vacation!!!

Mr. Kernbach hasn't been able to speak with me at length about my case, we've basically been playing phone tag, I'm supposed to call him Monday as he's been out of the office this week, will advise.

He kept very poor communication with me. I spent all of my time in dealing with him talking to his secretary. He came to my hearing unprepared. Had no confidence to begin with and talked about what to do if I lost. When I got my decision, it looked like the file he turned in didn't even have all the information I had given him. I don't trust him. I think he is knowledgeable in law but I think he gives that attention only to higher priority cases. I have never had such a terrible attorney. I would go elsewhere. A lawyer that doesn't communicate well with you is never a good thing!!!!
