Courtney and staff are exceptional thanks for helping me out

Courtney is the best, she listens to you as a person and is very understanding, She is awesome in the courtroom !

My experience working with the Armstrong Law Firm has been positive and productive. I highly recommend their team.

Around quarter one of 2024, my ex-wife got into a legal dispute with her Mom. Yes, this is dysfunctional family and that’s because they all struggle with bi-polar. Courtney was called upon and the case was explained to her. She was awarded a $5k retention fee from me to represent my ex-wife in family / juvenile court. At that time, Courtney explained that she charges a flat rate and the case could go on for a long while and go through 3-4 hearings before being resolved. She said that another fee could be imposed if it went beyond that. The first hearing arrives and the case was dismissed by the prosecution. My ex-stepmother asked the judge to drop the charges and the court accepted then fined her $150. Case completed. So… prior to the hearing, Courtney was asked if the case could be dismissed in this way and she said no but the judge saw otherwise. This is important to know because Courtney clearly did not contribute to the dismissal. Afterwards, Courtney was confronted and asked if any of the retainer was refundable since there was a fraction of the expected hours and labor put into the case. SHE SAID NO. There’s the factual story folks. You decide… you want this firm representing you? Courtney met with the family involved and is very aware that they are poverty stricken with mental illness. Still makes me angry to think about it.

Courtney Armstrong was one of the worst lawyers I have ever hired. She represented me on a final hearing child custody case to get my two children from their abusive father. Once we entered the courtroom it felt as if she wasn't on our side. When I asked her if my daughter could speak for herself she told me "that's not my problem". She was very nonchalant throughout my case. Later I found out Courtney and my exs attorney are friends... Although I flushed $4500 down the toilet, I learned many lessons. Mainly, always do your research on people. These reviews are pretty accurate. If you're looking for a fight for justice or morality you won't find it with Courtney Armstrong.

Bad

Can not speak for any other members of the group but the Armstrong woman sure isn’t picky about who she represents and certainly not a woman’s advocate or mental health advocate and she does not work with what’s best for the children and doesn’t mind tearing the children’s hearts to shreds. I am a nurse with 3 children and finally found the strength to leave my ex husband after years of him saying “If you leave you’ll never get the kids I will just tell them you are crazy” and years of HIS mental abuse it has been one court date after the other and she help him found a way to strip me of my parental rights to just visitation. Mental Health dx does not make you a bad mother pbut stripping that right from a person because of that? Yeah so I guess her status she “won” but torn 3 kids from their mother that could cause them physiological damage from a father who hates their mother more then he loves his own kids I don’t believe she has any morals but I’m sure for the right amount of money she don’t mind and I guess she will be getting more 🤷🏻‍♀️ #mentalhealthadvocate #Freedomofspeech

Great attorneys, reasonable pricing

I called receptionist were very rude to me very standoffish to someone looking for a lawyer also I really felt offended when she said I was yelling at her. This was my father's attorneys before he passed away. So I thought it would be a great fit after calling I felt disappointed and disrespected as if they where annoyed I felt unwelcomed. I'm from Connecticut and have never seen any mess like this. I'm hoping the attorney will reach out to me directly. I will update if they do.

I called to inquire about obtaining a lawyer on a legal matter and was told i would get a call back. Never did. Called back and the lady on the phone said she thought that I didn't need a lawyer and continued to cut me off and seem annoyed as I tried to explain my situation. I understand trying to filter cases because I'm sure plenty of people call with obtuse requests, but it seems odd to me to be so standoffish to someone looking for a lawyer and willing to pay whatever expense necessary...
