Mr. Leavitt was very knowledgeable and professional and provided very clear instructions on what to do. He represented me as an out-of-stater and gave very clear instructions on what I needed to do to have my misdemeanor driving charge reduced to a manageable improper driving charge. I am a travel physician and was driving from NYC to Atlanta instead of flying because of the COVID-19 pandemic and sincerely didn’t see the speed limit and didn't know I was going 77/55 zone (22 mph over) past midnight. I received a reckless driving - class 1 misdemeanor which is a serious criminal offense with potential penalties of 6 DMV points, a fine of $2,400, a jail sentence of 12 months, and a license suspension of up to 6 months. I was worried because I also had my very first speeding violation 2 years ago at another state while on a travel assignment.
