I am a PA resident and was issued a citation along route 95 near Emporia, VA for what I thought was just for speeding 88 in a 70 mph zone. The police officer did not bother to mention that the summons to court was actually for reckless driving by speed because I was driving greater than 85 mph. My wife and I only realized this while driving further down the highway, so the next morning I found Leavitt & Martin on a Google search, so I called and left a message. Cory called me back within a few hours and was extremely helpful explaining my options with no pressure at all. Very clear and concise communication from the beginning, Cory took care of everything without me making a 6 hour trip to the court hearing. Dan is the man! After receiving a ticket for reckless driving by speed, I reached out to Leavitt and Martin for a free consultation. Mr. Leavitt answered all of my questions, and informed me of what I needed to do. That’s when I decided to retain Leavitt and Martin as my attorney(s). They were able to represent me in court without me having to physically be there, and most importantly get my reckless driving charge reduced to a simple traffic infraction. I learned my lesson, and could not have asked for a better outcome.

Mr. Leavitt was very helpful with concise guidance and advisement. He is very responsive, and returned my initial call on a holiday weekend, to which I was happily surprised. My teenager had a court summons in a county two hours from where we live. It's helpful to have a lawyer in the county that is familiar with the judges and how they view your case. In Virginia, reckless driving is a misdemeanor criminal charge and minors are required to appear in Juvenile court. He gave us sound advice that we followed resulting in a fair and very reasonable outcome for my teenager's case, to our great relief. Could not ask for a better lawyer! Daniel was able to get my 84/60 reckless driving charge completely dismissed! What could’ve been a misdemeanor on my record forever is wiped away now thanks to him! I had another obligation the same date and time as my court date and he was able to represent me in court without my presence needed.
