I was recommended this the lawyer Johnny Cope through my benefits program. When I called his receptionist was kind and very helpful. She was able to schedule me a phone consultation. At the time of my consultation I waited a few minutes to receive a call and never. I did not think anything of it and just decided to reach out myself. Assuming maybe he was running behind. When I called again the receptionist was kind and quickly transferred me over to him. When he answered it was if he didn’t even want to speak with me. As I started to explain my situation he aburtly cut me off a minute into me speaking. He was unpleasant the whole conversation. I have dealt with many lawyers for various situations and never have I spoke with such a rude lawyer. I wasn’t even on the phone with him for more than 3 minutes. Luckily it was a call and not a drive. I don’t know if the legal advice I was seeking may not have been his speciality which I completely understand but It’s not what you say but how you say it. Also the way I was treated. First impressions are lasting impressions. I don’t know what his speciality is but I know that I will never seek legal advice from his firm again. But again his receptionist was very kind and very customer focused.

Attorney Cope Misrepresented my mother the contractual agreement between my mother as the tenant and the landlord was not what we agreed upon and now because of the incompetence of the Cope Law Firm there was a judgment of unlawful detainer for eviction and possession meaning she is ineligible to obtain an apartment.

In agreement with previous post by Brandi Quam, I was in the same situation. “Johnny Cope was my attorney for a 2018 and 2019 separation and divorce - he represented me meticulously and fought aggressively for my needs (and for the best interests of my children); he is knowledgeable, passionate, dedicated and candid (scarily candid) in his approach. I believe he truly cares about the people he represents and advises with an iron fist and open heart. I'm so thankful to Johnny and his team for helping me through one of the most difficult times of my life. I am surprised to see the few negative reviews, as a former, unrepresented client, I was threatened by Mr Cope to remove my negative review, or he would negate my % contract and not complete the insurance subrogation negotiations. I did all the legwork, provided corrected date and time for video of accident, he never provided the corrected info to the defendant's law firm, thus ZERO video, timeline passed! He was very chummy chummy with the opposing firm as well! He ended up with more money than I did!
