These guys are the worst. They'll say anything to represent you. As soon as they represent you, it's difficult to get in touch with them. The main reason the deserve just a star is because they withdrew themselves from my case before the hearing, no reason why. Just a letter say they no longer represent me.

I talked with Kristina Parker today and she was professional, personable, and just absolutely amazing! Going in the conversation I was anxious not knowing what to expect and by the end of the call she made me left feeling great, hopeful, and somewhat energetic. Thank you so much!

I called Rutter Mills and spoke with Kristina Parker about a SSDI claim that is pending for a while now at the SSA. She took all my information and answered all my questions. She was extremely helpful and very nice to speak with about my situation. I'm looking forward to Rutter Mills handling my Social Security case.

I contacted Rutter Mills about a case who has advertisements of being a High Profile Lawyer. I realize that here in Virginia, Law and Justice doesn't work hand and hand as it should! But there's one thing I do know, " There is a Supreme Justice System that supersedes every wicked and corrupt system man has in place and that Government, yes; that Kingdom is Righteous and Just because it is ruled by the Almighty God in whom I put my complete Trust! Like Doctor's, - Lawyer's too have a conscious they have to deal with. People who are in positions to help other's main goal should be to seek justice, but instead, they cling to one another like Cockroaches in a jar until the lid is removed, then they all scatter! Thank you, Attorney Andy Boran and (notably) his assistant Kathy Saunders, for transforming what began as a bad experience with another legal firm—heaped upon the trauma of a major car accident—into a (realistically) good outcome (ie, given that the possibility of stepping back in time to erase that life-sucking event was not on the table). We were impressed with Kathy’s ability to pull our medical bills together (appropriately!) soon after she took over from Shelby. And Andy’s experience with our type of case made the settlement process effective; particularly meaningful was his knowledge of the players on both sides—the mediating judge, the defense attorney, and the insurance representative. After a very discouraging start with another Rutter Mills paralegal (so bad, in fact, that we were forced to consider switching to yet another firm), Kathy stepped in to save the day; she is very, very easy to work with—highly skilled, attentive, and so personable. Then, miraculously, Andy’s assertion that “a good lawyer knows the law, but a great lawyer knows the judge”—while a discouraging truth to assimilate—turned out to be…well…true; helping to both de-stress the mediation process and also bring it to a favorable conclusion. Andy’s comfortable working relationship with those at table that day was surely the biggest factor in achieving that satisfactory result (and the main reason we’ve been able to say good things about our representation when folks ask about our case). All of that said, there are several modifications to the process—minor tweaks to the firm but changes to greatly enhance client comfort level and satisfaction—that would have removed significant angst from our relationship with Rutter Mills and given the firm much higher marks. It's been over 3 years, and I still don't have my entire settlement monies from being rear-ended at a red light. The entire point of retaining a lawyer is for them to cut through the red tape and expedite the process of settlement. I could have gotten this done quicker myself. Stay away from Andrew Boran Esq. He's egregious and doesn't care, especially after he gets his cut of the money. I'm filling a complaint with the Virginia State Bar. I would recommend going to the library and representing yourself.
