If you must have a lawyer, I would would recommend Attorney Joseph Young here at Rutter Mills. Without his patience and empathy to me and my case, I would have given a much lower rating, if I gave one at all! I haven't had to employ the services of a lawyer often, but when I have had to, I've had the worst service! Rutter Mills seemed to be going in the same direction as a previous experience with another Attorney I've had where it's all lolly pops and roses to get you in, or processed; then seemingly lose your existence in a sea of other clients; leaving you to make assumptions that make you feel your case may be too insignificant to get their attention; no matter how drastically your life has changed from it! What changed was that when Attn. Joe Young returned my call, which surprised me by itself, after the scathing phone message I left for him! He not only called me, but more importantly, he LISTENED TO ME! The whole time I spoke to him in the back of my head I'm thinking I've already said this and updated staff about these things to at least three other processors/handlers why doesn't he know these very important details? Important things like having the Dr.s note instructing my employer that I'll be out of work and in PT for at least 6 weeks... that's right, 9 months after my car accident, my firm assigned Attorney, didn't seem to have (the very heart of my case) the forms, bills, or Drs. notes that I had emailed his support staff a minimum of 3 times, to as many on his staff (yes, I've omitted the word "support") that Joe honestly didn't see included in my file. He not only paid attention to all I had to say, but he addressed each of my complaints, and even some delusions put in my head, probably from watching so many TV shows on crime, but he did so expertly and with the calmness that only a professional experienced and caring individual could. He restored my confidence not only in Rutter Mills, but in Attorneys in general. I tell you the truth, if ever a time comes that I have a need for another Attorney, he will be the one I call, and for now -he's at Rutter Mills!

I contacted Rutter Mills due to an automobile accident that I was involved in in November of 2020. I will admit I was very nervous due to this being the first time I had ever worked with a law firm. The staff was very informative and guided me through the entire process with the beginning steps of my lawsuit. While I am still a current client of the firm due to my ongoing case, I recently had the pleasure of speaking with a very professional gentleman which goes by the name of “Cory”!
