Mrs. Gregg was appointed as Guardian over a custody case. When the case first started I called to get an appointment. That took forever. I was originally from SC and I never dealt with a custody case. I finally got a date; now the first court date was in January, I didn’t get a meeting with Attorney Gregg until March. By this time Attorney Gregg already met with my sons father, I didn’t mind because I had nothing to hide. I was a single parent, I moved from SC with my older daughter and my son on my own. My sons father was in and out. But seems when I met with Attorney Gregg she had already had an assumption of who I was already and never met me before. I felt attacked, I felt that she was not being fair in the situation and looking at the best interest for the child. She listen to what the father who made it seem I was jealous of his new relationship that he was in. Which was craZy because i moved to VA and he was still in SC. He made a lot of accusations about me and she had no concrete proof of anything. My sons father is getting 100% disability from the military with 70% for ptsd and suppose to be getting ACTIVE counseling. She didn’t want to hear that. My sons father told her I was mentally incapable of taking care of my son but I have a daughter that is older than my son and she is taken care of. She never asked about her father or got in contact with her father. I work in healthcare, I get psych evaluations, I take vacations because work can get over bearing but How am I mentally incapable of not caring for one and but can for the other? Makes no since, and never ask about the daughters father. So she makes the suggestion that he should keep my son and I get visitation. I was devastated! My children are 18 months apart, they have always been together. And for this woman to separate siblings like she did, she is a horrible human being. She was not fair, she did not look at the best interest of the child at all. UPDATE TO 2021: IT HAS BEEN 3 LONG YEARS, MY SON GOES WITH OUT CLOTHES, MY SON WANTS TO PLAY SPORTS BUT HIS FATHER WONT LET HIM, SINCE SCHOOL HAS BEEN VIRTUAL MY SON HAS MADE STRAIGHT F’S THE WHOLE SCHOOL YEAR. SO THIS IS A WOMAN WHO SAID THAT HIS FATHER WAS THE BETTER PARENT AND I ONLY DESERVED VISITATION. MY SON IS SUFFERING TREMENDOUSLY BECAUSE OF THIS WOMAN. BELIEVE ME I HAVE MY PAPER WORK AND EVERYTHING LINED UP BECAUSE I WAS TREATED UNJUST. AS FAR AS MY DAUGHTER SINCE IM NOT A CAPABLE PARENT MY DAUGHTER HAS BEEN ON THE HONOR ROLL. SHE HAS EXCELLED WAY BEYOND HER TEACHERS EXPECTATIONS AND IM A WORKING FULL TIME/ part time and prn single parent and my sons father sits at the house collecting disability and his son is failing in school and blocks me from knowing anything and I had to fight to get information from the school. This woman honestly needs to be disbarred!
