Ed handled a case for me last spring in which I was prosecuted by a city attorney on a personal injury claim. He was tenacious in clearing the case and provided excellent representation. Mr. Atkinson was inexperienced and somewhat unprofessional around his colleagues. I hired Mr. Atkinson to help me with a personal injury case that was somewhat complicated. He assured me he could handle it and would get me top dollar with my settlement. He missed court dates and never wanted to discuss what he thought my case was worth. If you are willing to take pennies on the dollar for your personal injury case, please hire Mr. Atkinson. If not, do your research and hire someone with more experience and determination. Mr. Atkinson seems to believe that a $25,000 settlement is a great settlement. It seems that that is what he settles all of his cases for. Then, he takes his percentage and forces you to pay your medical bills out of the settlement even if you have negotiated to pay a lesser amount with your medical providers. Pay attention to his reviews. Most of them are written by friends and colleagues of his.

I highly recommend Mr. Atkinson. I was nervous about hiring an attorney, but the insurance company's offer did not come close to covering my medical bills. Mr. Atkinson was calm, professional and personable when I went to see him. He was able to negotiate with the insurance company, and we reached a settlement that was over 5 times the original offer, and a fair result. Mr. Atkinson portrays himself as very knowledgeable, however his work is not thorough or accurate. In my case he did not keep me up to date on developments in my case, he missed court dates and out right lied about certain aspects of my case. Mr. Atkinson made offers to opposing counsel without my knowledge or consent which completely discredited my case. If you make the mistake of hiring him as I did, do your homework and make sure you ask him for a complete accounting of all money coming and going from your settlement.

I went to see Ed after being in a car accident. Once he had all the facts all I had to was sit back and wait for the out come. Ed keeps you updated and informed of your case. Before I knew it I was getting my settlement check. Ed will answer all questions day and night for you.
