Being in the care of Emma, not a moment of stress was felt. I was not expecting to have to do so little in regards to the process she helped me with. Will be back to her for all other legal advice/representation.

We used McCormick Law and Consulting for our nonprofit’s 501c3. Emma was amazing, she took time and care in explaining the steps and listing to the work we do. She was thorough when we submitted our application to the IRS and we received our 501c3! Emma was a pleasure to work with and I cannot recommend this firm enough!

Steven at McCormick Law helped us with a huge dispute and quickly resolved an issue with our companies bank. We will absolutely use them again in the future and I highly recommend if you are looking for competent lawyers who are transparent and approachable.

Do NOT use this firm. He is clueless of the laws! I spent a year and a half trying to separate my land and half way through he had to start over because he was educated by an another attorney that he was doing it wrong. Meanwhile, I've paid thousands in servayor fees and him! Now he wants more money but will not explain where the first 6,000 went!

I went to this law firm to inquire about a landlord tenant issue. I paid 250.00 dollars for a consult. The lawyer that I consulted with was very young and admitted he had no clue regarding the landlord tenant act of Virginia. He stated he would have to “ look it up and get back to me.” I’m sorry but I find that to be inexcusable. I paid the fee and left. Then I received a ridiculous quote from Taylor the office person for a retainer fee of over 5 thousand dollars and that fee according to the retainer agreement that Taylor presented only covered that attorney who knew nothing to draft a letter to the opposing party, nothing else! My son was an attorney in Norfolk for 7 years. We both both found this experience somewhat laughable. Go somewhere else. Don’t waste your money!

Word cannot express my gratitude to Madeline Loving, as my lawyer. My daughter and I were involved in terrible car accident. And though I believed we were victims of road rage, I was issued a ticket. Steven is an outstanding lawyer. I was very nervous about hiring another lawyer due to my past experiences. I had found that most lawyers just take the retainer and then give little to no effort to effectively listen or defend me in court. My issue was of a domestic nature, so it was especially personal. Steven kept me informed throughout the whole case and got me the best possible outcome based on the facts of the case. He really does seem to enjoy his career and want to help to get the best possible outcome for his clients. If I have any cases that would require a lawyer in the future, I will definitely hire Steven again and would recommend him to anyone who needs a lawyer.

Wonderful experience with this practice! They handling the continuation of my case, appeared for me since it was out of state, and got my ticket reduced to a minimal charge with 0 points AND paid my fine for me! I would recommend 100x over! Thanks so much!

Ask for/request: Steven Thomas, DWI Attorney! Both, Steven and his admin staff were truly an amazing team. Their communication and partnership is admirable. My first DUI went to trial and Steven kept his promise to me when he said he’ll do his best and that he’s got my back! My DUI charge was dropped! Steven came to trial so organized to the fact that even the judge had to take time to compliment his sufficiency. I would recommend Mr. Thomas to anyone facing a DUI/DWI charge because he will do his best to fight for his client until there’s nothing left to fight for. Recommend 10/10!
