I called and inquired about service several weeks ago. NO RESPONSE! I even inquired about securing a retainer, NO RESPONSE. I finally LVM asking my call to be returned and if this was not a case they desired to take on to let me know so I can find other representation. NO RESPONSE. I read the mixed reviews after to contacting them. What clients are complaining about regarding poor communication is very TRUE!!!!

I was very impressed with the professional Service law firm. That was provided for me and the expertise with legal issues I had I really appreciate this law firm. I highly recommend it Thank you.

I was a little worried after the comments, but I had a great experience with Anson Law. In my opinion if you follow everything asked of the law firm in a timely manner everything will turn out great. This lawyer was paid to do a job that she grossly neglected. She was very consistent in not responding to phone calls or emails. She missed deadlines and lied repeatedly about the status of my case.She conspired with the courts to sabotage her own clients case.Time and time again she made several statements that were deemed false. The good news is I filed an ethics complaint against her which she was reprimanded for it. I went a step further by winning my arbitration case against her.She was ordered to provide a complete refund for services that she never rendered. As an attorney she showed poor character from beginning to the end and I was glad her peers were able to be sympathetic towards me.This awful attorney kept regurgitating theb same lies and hoping some would stick. She cannot be trusted with any critical information or keep confidentiality .Avoid this law firm by all means as she is nothing but a fly by night attorney that lack any real legal experience..There is nothinf genuine about her at all,her passive nature around real attorneys will leave you dumbfounded.The good reviews must be from her friends and known associates not real clients.Her laziness as an attorney is one of the worst I have ever encountered, her pandering to the court as an attorney is truly disgusting. I could write an entire book about her shady character as an attorney. She took it a step further by trying to lecture me about expectations while ahe ignored the expectation set by her clients.She ignores her client wishes on several occasion, she was rude, arrogant, lazy, couldn't keep an appointment. Hopefully this is not the new breed of minority attorneys in the Virginia area because the older ones went above and beyond to get the job done.Kindly run away from this delusional lawyer and consult with real clients before you regret retaining this quack of an attorney. She was ordered to provide a complete refund for services that she never rendered as she kept rambling about outcomes and expectations. The expectations are for an attorney to serve the client's best interest which she neglected due to her incompetency. As an attorney she showed poor character from beginning to the end by lying about the start date of my case. I was glad her peers were able to be sympathetic towards me. she refused to refund the retainer fee despite the strong various reasons why her services were no longer needed. She cannot be trusted with any critical information or task with keeping any form of confidentiality about her clients. Her laziness as an attorney is one of the worst I have ever encountered, her pandering to the court as an attorney is truly disgusting. It appears she was auditioning for a job with a rival law firm and trying to be in good grace with the court at the expense of her clients. She had to be corrected after providing me with numerous false statements that the courts deemed incorrect. I could write an entire book about her shady character as an attorney. She ignores her client wishes on several occasion, she was rude, arrogant, phony, lazy, couldn't keep a simple appointment. She refused to provide a copy of the documents that was signed and refused to send documents after she was terminated. She also lied that she can't be terminated until she filed paperwork with the courts. Her law firm will gladly take your money and refuse to answer calls or emails for months. She is also skilled at playing the race card and the black woman being victimized once you ask for a full refund. My experience mirrors other clients experience about her lack of professionalism, poor work ethic, lies about status of case, sexism, racism, feminism and not serving her clients' best interest. The ethics board ruling and the arbitration ruling tells you all you need to know about her character. As she attacks clients that give honest reviews about dealing with her. Avoid this law firm as Shalonda Tillman will do all the above to you and go a step further by lying about it. The Ethic board reprimanded Shalonda Tillan of Anson law firm about my case and I also won my arbitration case against her. These are both validations that my experience was her wasn't pleasant at all. I have also sent her a reminder email to start the process of refunding my money since she claimed to be a very successful attorney. This woman is nothing but a diversity hack that keeps peddling her legal advice on Facebook. She provided zero legal advice and i was amazed by her lack of expertise after consulting with another attorney. She is very loud and ghetto to her clients but very timid and easily intimidated when among real attorneys. Take a look at the reviews here and her lack of professionalism is on full display. I am waiting on her usual response before I go in dept about my additional experience with this awful attorney. Avoid this diversity hack at all costs as you will regret it.

I went to these people because of a friend who told me they were good oh my God I was so disappointed ! I’m dealing with a custody case which needless to say is very important and very sensitive when I called Ms.Tillman was very insensitive when I asked about the process of everything it was basically like pay the retainer now or I can’t answer a question I cant even listen to what you talking about ! She made me feel as though me and my children were not worth her time or efforts ! If you dealing with a case that is near and dear to your heart run to another attorney cause they all about money over here Update: and with the owners comment alone you can see the greed for money ! I went to another attorney and without even stating a retainer or what the fee was he was understanding answered simple questions and made me want to trust him with handling a case about my children!! To the owner you sit up here and come back to people making yourself look exactly what these comments say about you I was more than willing to pay an attorney but the demeanor you have with future clients I would never hire someone like you again I say DO NOT USE THIS LAW FIRM !!!! Do not waste your money on someone who is going to look at you like a number and not a person !

Mrs. Tillman Did a wonderful Job handling my Divorce case in spite of juggling other cases she got me exactly what I asked for, and in a very swift manner, she did not give up until she found the defendant that needed to be served, and got my Divorce Finalized and for this I’m forever grateful and will be making her Lawfirm a permanent Lawfirm that I will hire if and or anything occurs I know I can count her.

I cannot express how utterly disappointed I am with Anson Law. all my interactions with them has been nothing short of a nightmare. I'd give them zero stars if that were possible. From the get-go, it was clear that professionalism was sorely lacking. The communication was abysmal, to say the least. I attempted to contact them multiple times, and it was like shouting into a void. They didn't respond to emails, phone calls, or messages, leaving me in the dark about the status of my case constantly. and when i asked her multiple times to please just give me an update at least within the week she still ignored me. (note i retained them in June and i am sadly still a client. so don't say you don't know me under here) Furthermore, when I did manage to get through to Mrs. Tillman, her attitude was dismissive and unhelpful. It felt like she couldn't care less about my concerns, and I was just another case number to them. A law firm is supposed to provide support and guidance during difficult legal matters, but Anson law did the exact opposite. They added to my stress and frustration rather than alleviating it. If you are in need of legal assistance, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Based on my experience, I would advise you to steer clear of here, shoot my spouses legal counsel was way better and had a more active representation go to Darnell m Harding i know i shouldn't've promote his side but at least they REPRESNTED him and spoke up for there client unlike Mrs. Tillman i felt like i was fending for myself. There are countless other law firms out there that are far more professional, responsive, and genuinely concerned about their clients' well-being. Don't waste your time and money on a firm that clearly doesn't value your business or your legal needs. i know this is long but id rather save the next person the headache.

I've tried to contact this law office to see if she would accept our case (I have documented proof that we've done so). If she was not interested in accepting our case, a simple "no thank you" response would have sufficed. I text the phone number. I sent an email. I left a voice message. I've called the office two additional times and no one bothered to answer the phone. I ONLY spoke to her once on the initial call. We submitted the requested form IMMEDIATELY 3-4 weeks ago. Not one single response to any of my follow ups. Disappointed in this office's lack of professionalism. We truly wanted to hire her. But we were never given the opportunity to do so. UPDATE: YET THE LEAST YOU COULD DO IS RESPOND. Your Response proved how tacky and unprofessional this law firm is. NO accountability and NO decency. Terrible. Absolutely terrible and RUDE.

This law firm was truly unprofessional and did not handle things in a timely manner. I would not work with them or recommend to anyone. Don’t risk it and find out for yourself. A huge mistake on my part!
