I was in a crash and hurt. The best part of my experience with Kalfus and Nachman was when Christopher Jacobs took my case and filed a lawsuit against the person who hurt me. Before that, the insurance company jerked me around and delayed over and over. The defendant and insuance company never wanted to take responsibilty or accountability for my injuries and bills they caused me to have. Chris Jacobs was awesome in court and did not back down one bit. He always kept me informed and always was available when I called to discuss my case. If I know anyone who needs a great attorney I will recommend them to Chris Jacobs at Kalfus and Nachman.

Great and Friendly staff through the entire time you feel right at home...

They are the absoulute worst. I have been getting nothing but the run around when it comes to my settlement. They do not answer the phones, they are never in the office and i have been waiting for my settlement check for 2 months now. One person tell you one thing and someone else tells you something completely different. Would not recommend anyone to use them as there attorneys.

Great law firm waiting was the hard part as it is with any case. But other then that I received great service and the staff is great and extremely polite.

The worst experience I had besides my injuries was the waiting. But, that is because my attorney had to file suit and force the insurance company to make a fair offer. Once Chris Jacobs filed suit and forced the insurance company to make a fair offer things went much smoother. Horrible answering service on June 27th at 920a.m. Asked to speak to a paralegal or attorney about a very sensitive case that involves state judicial employees. told I didnt feel comfortable giving my full name at the time... until I could speak to someone more officially...he said have a good day and abruptly hung up.

So I would have to rate this law firm with a big zero! I was bitten by a dog over three years ago and Christopher Jacobs was supposed to be representing me. However he has continued to allow the defendant to postpone court based on his "military obligations". I understand military service superseeds civilian court however the service member must provide a copy of the orders to determine if they actually are deployed on the court date. Unfortunately for me Mr Jacobs has no clue what deployment orders look like and has allowed this case to drag on endlessly. I requested to speak with Paul Hernandez and was told he would be contacting me. That was over 2 week's ago and have not heard anything from him. Mr Jacob's accepted a generic letter to civilian employers stating dates that the command may possibly be deployed. The defendant's name was no where on the letter. There was no evidence the defendant was even attached to said command. Mr Jacobs removed himself from the case when I informed him he obviously does not know what military order's look like. That is when he told me he would be turning it over to Mr. Hernandez. I would never recommend Kalfus & Nachman to even an enemy. Like I said, this has gone on for over three years. Oh, and I received a letter from Mr Jacobs last week stating the new court date is December 7, 2018. So do I still have a case with them, I don't know. I guess I need to pursue other alternatives to settle this case. By far the worst representation ever. The only reason they get a star is because it is required to be able to post! Update: I received a call from Mr Hernandez and after a lengthy late night conversation I determined it was best for my case to terminate services with Kalfus & Nachman. Apparently my expectations for representation exceeds what they provide.
