I appreciate the personal attention I received. The team is efficient and compassionate addressing my needs through a difficult season.

All they do is take your money and leave you without representation! I had been charged $410 for a "STRATEGY SESSION" even though they advertise FREE Consultations!! I had to reach out to them one week AFTER I signed all their agreements and gave them the retainer. Right before my meeting with the attorney for a meeting to respond to the courts request, the company FIRED the attorney. They EMAILED me one hour before I was to call into the conference. not even a phone call. WHAT A JOKE! And to make things worse, I had to fight with them to get my retainer back. After many calls and emails, they have yet contacted me for an apology or to return my money "STRATEGY SESSION" that went nowhere. They don't just FIRE someone in the spot. They knew what they were doing way before that day. I'm the one that paid for a service that went nowhere and then had to pay again for a new attorney at a much BETTER firm (should have gone to ROOP XANTTOPOULOS BABOUNAKIS and KLAM PLLC first) Would NOT recommend Melone Hatley at all!!!

I had bad experience with this firm in Reston, VA. This firm uses its headquarter's staff in Virginia Beach to initially screen you as a potential customer over the phone and asks all the details of your case. Then the remote staff discusses your case with the lead partner who is also located in Virginia Beach and makes a decision to accept your case and assign to an attorney located closer to you. My case was assigned to attorney Arian Saleh who goes by Ari. The retention amount was also decided in Virginia Beach and communicate to me before the meeting with an attorney. I met with Ari in person for an hour in Reston, VA. She promised to file necessary or missing petitions to the Circuit Court and discuss the adjusted retention amount with the staff in Virginia Beach. She was supposed to get back to me in late September 2024. It is December 2024 now, and I am yet to hear back despite a few follow ups. I wasted my time and $400 for the consultation. Obviously, I am not this firm's client and was never able to retain Ari.
