As an attorney practicing in another state, I found myself in the unusual position of needing legal representation in Virginia and chose to retain Borjian Law Group. As such, I had the pleasure of working closely with the managing attorney, Maryam Borjian. I am extremely grateful for Maryam’s hard work and dedication in resolving a baseless garnishment on a personal account. Initially, Maryam seemed very convincing and helpful. My family and I approached her for assistance with a garnishment, and she repeatedly reassured us that it could be easily resolved. She even expressed a “strong feeling” that she could “get rid of this” for us. After encouraging us to pay her, we did so, but then she went silent for two weeks. In our growing concern, my family and I reached out to her for an update. She finally responded, telling us there was nothing she could do and that she was overwhelmed by the two calls and two text messages we had sent. She then sent an email stating that she was no longer taking the case and wished us the best of luck. We paid $1,200 for no service or resolution. Please be cautious when choosing someone to represent you—this experience felt like a marketing scam.

Words cannot express how grateful I am for Matthew Kensky's knowledge, skills, and competence. Mr. Kensky represented me in court for a serious traffic offense. Prior to court, he gave me excellent advice and instructions on how to prepare for court. Mr. Kensky took the time to thoroughly explain three different approaches we might take in my defense, depending on the judge, the officer involved, and the general environment in court that day. On Mr. Kensky's advice, we decided to go to trial as the best option. Arguments were made, and consideration was given for the driving courses and community service I had completed before our court date. Our judge handed me the best possible result : The lowest fine for a serious offense and leaving my driving privileges intact. I felt like I was walking on air as we left the court. It could have gone much worse than that. I highly recommend Matthew Kensky for defending serious traffic violations. Following his instructions, there literally was nothing else I could possibly do to prepare for court, which gave me a certain comfort. I was impressed by the judgements he made in court based on what he had told me to expect. Everything fell into place just like he said it would.

Omg, lets see where I can begin. I am overly pleased with the outcome of having Mr Kensky as an attorney. Not only was his expertise, knowledge and demeanor great, I can see he had a great rapport with the otherside as well. He was very effective and efficient in getting things handled. Matt Kensky is an excellent attorney who took a personal interest in my case. Myself and my loved ones had been stalked, harassed and threatened for the past nine months. Wow I am still so amazed at the work Mrs. Borjian and Mr. Kensky did for me. My case was nearly impossible to beat. Hit with a DUI-2nd within 5 and was looking to serve 30 days. My friend recommended their law firm (they helped drop 6 of his 7 charges) and I am so happy that I did. They were so knowledgeable and told me step-by-step what to do. With all of their help I got it dropped to a reckless. Crazy. Its been several days and I am still cheesing. Thank you Mrs. Borjian and Mr. Kensky for everything! Highly recommend them to anyone 👍🏻
