Mr. Weiland and team have been and are phenomenal. Apart from being warm and all around great people they're even better and honest attorneys. They were very transparent with me throughout my entire debacle with Henrico county aka the worst place in the US to get a ticket. I was going 96/65 and was promised certain jail time by the cop, the judge and everyone else. Mr. Weiland presented his argument and in short was met with "I'm not buying it from the judge". As I stood there in tears, John proceeded to argue down the judge as to why he needed to see things from another perspective! The judge's response was "in all the years l've been on the bench that has got to be the best argument l've ever heard for I was speeding but didn't know I was speeding" I walked out court with a result that was unimaginable for anything at that speed coming out of Henrico. I was given a regular speeding ticket. After leaving court the judge called and it was reduced 10-14 over.... I paid 250 plus 66 dollars in court fees. Let me tell you they were also the most affordable out of all the attorneys I consulted with! I was quoted on average 2000-5000 bucks! The Weiland firm was fair and reasonable, and by far the best attorney I've ever dealt with !

I retained the Weiland Law Frim for a reckless driving ticket that I got in February. I was speeding going 31 miles over in a 45 zone. I was easily facing jail time loss of my drivers license and not to mention the hefty fines I would have to pay. But thanks to John Weiland and Josh Stock they got me completely off! The Law Firm from the paralegals to the lawyers are very helpful down to earth and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend using this team if you ever fined yourself in any traffic trouble like I was. I hope I never see myself in that situation again but if I am i know who i will be calling WEILAND LAWFRIM! Thank you guy for all you did for me ill never forget it.

Weiland did an outstanding job. What you pay a lawyer for is their connections in the court, ability to make quick judgements, and their knowledge of the law and John hit all 3 points with 5 stars. Henrico is a hard court and on top of that my record wasn’t clean as far as speeding. Originally I was in a courtroom with a judge that while kind, would probably not have reduced my speeding out of misdeameanor due to the amount of 45 mph over. However he was able to use his quick thinking and knowledge of the court to allow me to switch courtrooms and in front of a judge that MAY have been a bit more lenient. He was very upfront with me about the potential outcome of the case and what I was facing- but I wholeheartedlyuu believe that with another lawyer in the same situation I would’ve ended up with a misdemeanor for speeding. This speaks to John as an individual on top of his expertise in his field. Now as a client- you do have to do your part as well -and I think that is what helped because all John had to do was worry about the court because I did everything that was asked prior and it was a long list of things. However those same things were the reason the Judge said “this is a very excessive speed but the amount of things you did to mediate is why I’ll reduce it to 15” (not exactly verbatim but the same message.) My driving record had a previous speeding ticket, and 3 accidents. I think that everything was worth the price and I will hopefully never have to use his services again. But if i needed another lawyer I would use him again.

Mr Weiland was EXCELLENT. From the first meeting he gave us specific instructions regarding the various steps to take to build an arsenal of positives to present to the judge before arraignment. Although primarily a circuit court defense attorney, he took our case and was great in dealing with the juvenile court prosecutor, judge and bailiffs. So supportive both professionally and emotionally for my son. We did as directed and thankfully the end result TODAY was CASE DISMISSED!!! Thank you, John!

I had a reckless driving case in Henrico County that was 99% guaranteed to get me at least one day of jail time: 106 mph in a 65. Mr. Weiland did not sugar coat it, but told me what to do before my court date to give me the best shot. I logged over 100 service hours, got my speedometer checked and calibrated, and had my employer write a character letter. Henrico County is known for being hard line on speeding and anything over 100mph is considered automatic jail time. When my court date came, thankfully we had a judge that was sympathetic enough to my case (explaining since I was military I was facing disciplinary action on my end as well), I ended up having my charges lowered to "improper driving" with a $500 fine, with no criminal record. Mr. Weiland was amazing. He's also former military so he's familiar with those situations as well.

John was absolutely amazing', He worked a miracle in my eyes. ! He wasn't expensive at all. I was out of state , Did not have to appear in court .. I followed all his instructions on what to do prior to court. He got my reckless driving charges dropped 90 in a 55.. I can't thank him enough He definitely was a blessing Thank You John So much. !!

Mr. Weiland told me exactly what I should do to prepare for my reckless (92/70) court date. In the court room, he talked to the police officer who pulled me over, and told me exactly how he was going to approach the case when speaking to the judge. My reckless charge, which is a criminal misdemeanor, got reduced to a small fine. Excellent results!

He had a great plan and got my 91/55 dismissed. He was super professional and walked me through everything. 10/10 would recommend him.

John can defend any case, even if you have any prior tickets on your record. He defended my 94/65 RD case exceptionally. I was looking at jail time, Criminal conviction, and thousands to go down the drain in insurance. Mr. Weiland made me feel very confident in his ability to get me a favorable outcome. I originally found him on AVVO.com and his reviews were more than favorable. There were some reviews that made me question the clients sanity, but Mr. Weiland gave them more than a reasonable outcome on their cases. Additionally, I’ve spoke to several lawyers before talking with Mr. Weiland and they all basically told me that they did not want to being my case to an Appeal and then charge me a ungodly amount of money. In the same light, some did not even want to try to help me because they did not like dealing with the Judge in Mecklenburg County, too strict they said, but not Mr. Weiland. He took my case with eagerness and confidence that he could give me a realistic outcome that would accomplish what I wanted. For my personal situation, I did not want a Class I Misdemeanor on my record for reckless driving because I work for the Government. Moreover, after receiving the ticket, I immediately researched how to combat my case and that was when I found out Virginia awards Reckless Driving charges for anyone speeding above 80 mph or 30mph over the posted speed limit. Additionally, I found out that attending a Defensive Driving class and volunteering for community service for a Non-profit organization could help me out, all of which Mr. Weiland suggested too when I finally talked with him, but I already had everything aligned before hand. Furthermore, I ended up completing and enjoying the 8 hour Defensive Driving Class and volunteering 106 hours for the Salvation Army, I know they miss me because I was working like I was getting paid. To look into further, I personally sorted, reorganized, categorized, and cleaned every corner of their facility, as well as professionally revitalized their landscaping without hesitation within several of their facilities. On another note, I would not hesitate on hiring Mr. Weiland again for any legal matter within Virginia and I highly recommend his services to anyone needing professional legal help. I thank Mr. Weiland and his team for helping me so much and to be able to rest easy.

I had an accident that almost cost me everything, my husband and I hired Mr. Weiland to handle the charges. This is one of the most complicated charges in traffic cases.
