I can't say enough positive things about James river law and especially James Cooke(attorney) and Carolyn Hayden (parallegal).I have been having to go to court for over a year with my ex boyfriend who was trying to win full custody of our daughter. He had a really good lawyer and I was extremely nervous and constantly stressed. After seeing my lawyer James Cooke in court yesterday fight my case to the judge I was extremely confident in him and impressed with how well he spoke and the questions he asked. He was amazing and he won full custody for me! I can't thank Mr.Cooke enough. Carolyn Hayden(his parallegal) was easy to get in touch with me and a quick responder. She did alot of hard work for my case and I can't thank her enough either. If you want a positive outcome in court I highly recommend James River Law.

Alex represented me during an arbitration. I was just a few months into running my LLC as my full-time job and a client tried to break a contract and refused to pay me for my work (a considerable amount--especially for a new business). Alex did a fantastic job of arguing my case in arbitration, which resulted in me getting awarded more than I originally asked for (this included payment for my work, and reimbursement for expenses due to the arbitration). Alex cares about those he represents and his passion really helped put me at ease during that very stressful time. 10/10 I would recommend him and his team!
