In Spring of 2023 I left a workplace that I deeply loved due to changes that were occurring in management. Brianna Baldwin was highly recommended to me by multiple other paralegals during my job search. In October 2020, I was laid off from my job after 20 years because of the pandemic. I sent my resume to Prime Legal and continued looking elsewhere for work and forgotten about it. I eventually found work, however, at a pay cut but I was content at that moment. In November 2022, Brianna Baldwin reached out to me. If I remember correctly, she reached out to me by email, and I ignored it. Then she reached out to me again and this time, I felt the urge to respond, and I did. We talked for a long time. Brianna asked me questions like, "What do you do? What kind of job would interest you?" and "What kind of salary you need to sustain yourself?" Brianna took a moment to get to know me. No one from an agency ever did that. They just want to know do you want a job or not, regardless of if the job fit you or not. I'm a private person but I had never been so transparent with another human being in my entire life. So, at the end of our conversation, a plan was made. I became ill unexpectedly in the new year. I emailed Brianna, informing her that I will wait on new employment until I had a handle on my health. Brianna responded almost immediately, sharing her well wishes. Four months later, my life was in shambles. I asked God for help because I could not continue with outrageous medical bills and other financial responsibilities. A couple of days later, Brianna came to mind and a voice in my ear that said as clear as day, "Call her." I knew without a doubt God spoke to me. As I type this it gives me the chills thinking about that day. I emailed Brianna and asked for help. She did not hesitate and began to work on my behalf. She knew me and what I needed. I stood back out of Brianna's way, allowing her to work her magic. I had interviews with two great companies that were looking for the qualities and skills I possessed. Brianna coached me through the interviews with great information to help me through because I was so nervous. I believe I did well because I learned what to say and not say. She earned the nickname "Coach" from me. A week or so later, I received a call from one of the companies. Not only did they offer me the job but offered the salary I asked for plus a great benefits package. This has been the best job search of my entire working career and I owe that to Brianna. If you are like me, a person who struggles finding a better job and interviews are stressful for you, reach out to Brianna at Prime Legal. Brianna's phone number in my cell doesn't say "Prime Legal", it simply says "Brianna." I consider her as a friend. If she were to ever call me and say, "I'm in trouble", I'm only going to tell her three things. "Are you safe?", "Where are you?" and "I'm on my way!"
