I was very pleased with how Todd A. Knode at Coates and Davenport, P.C. was able to work with the officer and judge to reduce my penalty. I would definitely recommend him if you have received a moving violation in the Richmond area as opposed to trying to represent yourself - especially as an out of state driver. Mr. Knode defended me himself rather than let another lawyer who I hadn’t consulted present my defense before the prosecutor. I appreciated very much the patience with which Mr. Knode explained my options prior to the hearing date. The case was settled favorably out of court and I didn’t have to return to Virginia.

I was originally assigned to a different lawyer when my case was first submitted back in 2020, but after he left the firm in 2021, I was reassigned to Rebecca Zimmerman, and I couldn't have been happier that she was my new attorney. She was consistently proactive throughout my entire case, and her communication was exceptional from start to finish. She was always following up with me and giving me weekly, if not daily updates during my case. I ended up getting the result I wanted in the end, and she made the process as less stressful as you possibly can while going through a divorce. I just called and talked a receptionist that told me I would atleast be able to speak with a lawyer first so I would ateast get to know him or her. I have no problem paying the fee of 300$ but I would like to speak to them on the phone first and get to know them. As i stated the first receptionist told me shure no problem but then transferred me to another which is the lawyers actual receptionist she was very nice and all but then told me that I would only be able to schedule the appointment then talk to them.so the first receptionist with the attitude lied to me I feel.no bigge and the fee for it is not my concern ill gladly pay that. But I just want to have a personal connection with the attorney. I have had great lawyers before who have connected on a personal level and I have had bad ones that I had to end up doing my own litigation myself and winning.But the great ones always atleast talked to me I would have loved to have did business and. Been represented by you. But it seems there is no personal level anymore.

I have been extremely happy with the help I received from all the staff at Hunter and Everage. No matter what I had questions on they could answer and if not they would do their very best to find out. Debra Maddox has helped me much. And I appreciate her so much.
