SAVE YOUR MONEY ($1,000 to be exact) or just make sure you don't get Mr. Dean. My 17 year old daughter got a reckless driving ticket. This is a kid who never gets in trouble of any kind... 1st court date she was given the maximum sentence- handcuffed and taken away to serve 7 days in juvenile detention and had her license suspended for 6 months. Mr. Dean left right after the judgement and gave us no advice. I spoke to a group of lawyers while at the courthouse who advised us to appeal and get her out of there. Mr. Dean called us hours later to advise us to appeal. She would have been locked up in JD by then! Appeal- Mr. Dean came to court without a copy of her grades (straight A's) and NONE of the letters her teachers and managers wrote on her behalf that we had given him. His case to the judge was based on the "defense" that she didn't know what to do. Call me crazy but that makes her sound like she had no business driving and that's exactly what the judge thought. His actual words "if she doesn't know how to react while driving, seems to me she shouldn't be driving, therefore I am suspending her license for 6 months". Amongst the list other things he never brought up, he never told the judge that we had taken her car and license for 3 months already...Mr. Dean told us it would look favorable to the judge then never even mentioned it during court. We would have been 1000% better off letting her defend herself- at 17 she would have defended herself better than Mr. Dean. Even if she got the exact same sentence, she wouldn't have spent $1,000 of her college tuition that she has been saving for over 2 years! I chose this lawfirm because of the stellar reviews and it turned out to be one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made!

I had a wonderful experience with Mr. Wells and his entire staff. Erin was especially helpful and always answered any questions I had. Mr. Wells was very informative and professional while also managing to be personable to make the most out of a bad situation. I would highly recommend him!

Rarely ever give 5 stars. Handled my out of state bs reckless driving ticket in VA for doing 81 in a 70. Reasonable fees, little work on my part, professional and timely. My driving record was nothing pretty either. Many thanks and recommendations! 😄

I received a speeding ticket for what the state of Va calls reckless driving, I was clocked doing 84 in a 70MPH. I was anxious to just pay it but I would be charged with a misdemeanor. I read the reviews on the Riley & Wells and I made the decision to give them a call. I didn't have to appear in court and the team worked to get my ticket down to moving violations. I do not recommend speeding but if you happen to get pulled over do yourself the favor call Riley and Wells. Don't try to fight it alone. They have an amazing team.
