I researched several attorneys and chose Mr Riley based on his experience and reputation. From our first interaction I found him to be trustworthy and I felt confident in his understanding and handling of my case. I also felt his services were fairly priced. Ultimately my case was dismissed which I attribute to Mr Riley's persistence in and out of the courtroom. I would highly recommend him.

I hired Mitch Wells on 2 different occasions over the last couple years. Both were for speeding, but I cant have moving violations on my record. Mitch was very straightforward and helped me to understand the process of his defense. He under promised and over delivered. Mitch was able to get one charge dismissed with driving school, and the other charge changed to a non moving violation with a fine. Both outcomes were more than I could have ever asked for. He and his staff communicated with me the whole way through and I can't thank them enough for their help. The fee was fair and worth every penny. I hope to not be in the situation to need him again, but at least I know who to call if I was.

So Professional I received a reckless driving ticket on my way to work in November 2015. I contacted Mitch Wells and he was so helpful. Mitch told me not to worry and to leave that part up to him. The ticket was for speeding at 77 in a 55mph zone. While I had no idea that I was traveling that fast, still it was a serious offense. I was advised that I did not even have to show up for court on my court date in December 2015, but I did and waited outside the courtroom while Mitch went before the judge and the officer. In just a short time he came back out and said "I have some good news".... "the case was dismissed". I have to attend driving school and when that is completed, I go back to the clerk of the court, pay an $82 fine and the case is dismissed! I'd say that is a professional doing what a true professional does.....he takes his client at heart and does the very best for them that anybody could do. I am so glad that I contacted Mitch and to those reading this review, YOU WILL BE GLAD THAT YOU ALLOWED MITCH AND HIS FIRM TO HANDLE YOUR CASE AS WELL. I have complete confidence that they will assist in any way possible.

Mitch Wells is a lawyer on a different caliber of efficiency, knowledge, and effectiveness. I appreciated every aspect from the greetings on the phone to the sit down at the office. All was a wonderful experience. The office was beautiful in structure to interior aesthetic. The feelings upon entering were warm and welcoming. I was an out of state driver and Mr. Wells fully took that into consideration along with many other concerns I had. He had a reassuring attitude to where I felt I was in a safe and reliable to converse openly with him in addressing every detail. I would highly recommend Riley & Wells as a dedicated, professional, knowledgeable team. After my daughter was in an accident, we looked at attorney options and quickly reached out to Ed Riley. From the first conversation Ed and the entire team at Riley & Wells made us feel comfortable while professionally and clearly discussing the process with us. They spent time understanding the situation and outlining what we should expect from the different judges and police officers. Additionally Ed did a very good job explaining the possible outcomes to my teenage daughter. He made clear that she should see this as a learning experience to help her become a more careful driver.

Mr. Wells represented me in Hopewell, Virginia for a Reckless Driving citation of 108 in a 70 mph zone. I got this citation on my way to process into the Air Force and I could not afford to have this on my record, so I hired Mr. Wells after consulting 15 different attorneys. Mr. Wells and his law firm did an exceptional job with my case. He was able to get the judge to take a disposition and drop the charge down to improper driving, which is not a misdemeanor. I could not have been more thankful for the job Mr. Wells did. If I was a football coach, Mr. Wells would be my defensive coordinator because that is how great of a defense attorney he is. Keep in mind though that Virginia is a commonwealth and every Judge is different. However, I do not think there is a judge Mr. Wells cannot face. If you received a citation for reckless driving, I recommend you consult with Mr. Wells and he will be willing to help you out as long as you do everything he instructs you to do. My experience at Riley and Wells was excellent. My free consultation took place over the phone which was convenient but also very thorough. Mr. Riley took the time to listen to the details of my case, gave me an idea of what to expect in court, and advised me on what to do before going to ensure a better result. When my court date arrived Mr. Wells spoke with me briefly about the details and what he anticipated the result would be before meeting with the prosecutor. I was dealing with a traffic/criminal matter that I was extremely concerned about. I've never been in trouble before and I had no idea how to handle the matter. What made things worse: I live in Virginia Beach but had to report to Henrico County for the hearing/trial. My husband recently was charged with a very serious traffic offense in Virginia (we are MD residents)...and had to appear in court (almost 3 hours from our home). I received my first speeding ticket in crazy ticketing Virginia. The highway patrol officer alleged I was going 86 in a 70 which was a lie, I was going about 76. I know better to speed in Va due to their costly fees. Anyhow, I was charged with Reckless driving which is a criminal offense and I was horrified. When I got home to NYC I received a bunch of letters from different traffic attorney's but not from this one. I found this firm online and read their positive reviews. There was great communication and follow ups. Their fee was $500 which is comparable to other attorneys I reviewed and consulted. Hopefully I will never have to use their services again but I would definitely recommend them, BTW, my charge was dismissed BUT I had to pay $80 in court fees and take a defensive driving online course for Virginia. :-( This experience was truly a wake up call for me to drive more cautious
