Was involved in a commercial vehicle accident back in March and although it was a major accident I was only cited with a lane violation. I contacted Riley and wells and received a prompt, professional call from Cody Remington. We discussed the accident and he presented his case. The fee was fair and and I did not need to be present for the trial (live out of state) I was found not guilty and I could not be happier. I would highly recommend Cody Remington as council again. I was charged with reckless driving - speeding 91/70 mph zone. Riley & Wells was able to get the speeding ticket reduced to defective equipment, which is a no points, non-moving, minor traffic infraction. I also did not have to show up to court as Cody represented me there. At the firm I worked with Cody and Kristin, they turned a bad situation into a good one. I receieved a misdemeanor reckless driving charge for my alleged speed (88 in a 70) as well as a radar detector ticket while on I85-N passing through Dinwiddie, Virginia. I called Riley and Wells and Cody Remington took my case. He was able to get the reckless charge down to defective equipment (a non-moving violation with no points) and greatly reduce the fine on the radar detector ticket. I highly recommend Cody and the entire staff for anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation.

Expensive but get the job done - 90/70 speeding ticket - reckless driving decreased to a moving violation (infraction) with a ADI Class and simple fine and cost fees. Happy with what they did.

Contacted Riley & Wells law firm because of a reckless driving ticket and was facing misdemeanor charges. Riley & Wells law firm was very helpful with on point communication. They represented me in court due to being from out of state. Court results were very successful with minimal fines, ticket reduced to speeding 1-9 over and only 3 points on my license. I would highly recommend this firm should you find yourself needing an attorney.

I had an awesome experience with Riley & Wells! I got a reckless driving charge in VA while on vacation & decided to get an attorney to go to court for me. I had no experience with court or how getting an attorney works, but their team made it so easy & gave me clear information as to what to expect & what they will be doing for me. Mr Wells got the misdemeanor charge down to the lowest offense- a non-moving infraction of defective equipment. That means no record & no points for me! $750 flat fee for his representation, plus $266 for the fine & court fees. I’d say that’s a pretty good deal considering what that reckless driving charge would cost me in fines & the spike in my insurance costs- plus the time off work & gas it would’ve cost me to drive back to VA to appear in court myself. Both Mr Wells & his assistant Kristin are great!

I was represented by Mr. Wells for a reckless driving charge of 86/65 in Prince George County. In our initial discussion over the phone everything was explained clearly regarding the charge and that he would go to work immediately on the case if hired. His confidence of getting the charge dismissed or reduced to a lower infraction helped remove the feeling of an anvil hanging over my head. In addition the concern that I would have to drive 2 hours to get to an unfamiliar court across the state during a pandemic was also put at ease has he would attend on my behalf.
