Fantastic experience at Riley & Wells. I was given a reckless driving ticket for going over 80mph and did not realize what a huge deal this was in the state of VA. Luckily I came across this firm to help me out and they gave me a great result by lowering the misdemeanor into an infraction, so that this did not appear on my record. Very happy with the result and the employees who were always able to answer my questions.

I had a speeding ticket which is of 85/60. I had hired Riley and they are very professional. Collected all the required documents and reduced all the charges on me.

Skilled, compassionate, and client-focused. I had an 89/65 charge and other lawyers in the area wanted me to jump through hoops (e.g., 50+ hours of community service BEFORE the court date) to get this charge reduced. I work a crazy over-time schedule and just couldn't do all this. Mitch Wells took the time to speak with me and formulate a plan which was far more efficient (and in the end, effective). He appeared in court on my behalf -- also saving me precious time and energy -- and achieved the desired goal of reducing the charge and avoiding a reckless conviction. Wow, what a relief! I’m that one leper that has to come back to say THANK YOU! I was driving in hopewell county on i95 when I was pulled over for “speeding”. These cops prey on out of town tags so out of towners beware. I was distraught, I have never been pulled over in my life. The officer ended up giving me a ticket claiming I was doing 81 or 83 which was way over the speed. I could eat or sleep because this can effect my career. I called one lawyer who said I had to cough up 800 plus dollars. Then God direct me to Riley and Wells. For a low cost my case was dismissed with traffic school. Mr Dean was the amazing lawyer taking care of my place. May God bless him and his family and also everyone at that law office. Don’t hesitate to use them when your in trouble, they won’t let you down!

I was driving through Sussex County in Virginia en route to funerals for two of my childhood friends in New York and Connecticut when I was pulled over on March 29, 2019, at 7:50 a.m. An officer had gotten behind me and pulled me over for doing 84 miles per hour in a 70 miles per hour zone. I was issued a criminal summons for “Reckless Driving” instead of a speeding ticket. I was worried about my insurance premium increasing, points on my driver’s license, suspension, a possible jail term, and the possibility of losing my job. However, I discovered the Riley & Wells law firm after doing some research on the Internet. I called and spoke with Mr. Cody A. Remington. During our conversation, I quickly realized that Mr. Remington was very knowledgeable and experienced with Reckless Driving cases. I actually felt a lot better after speaking with Mr. Remington. I was told that since I am from South Carolina, Mr. Remington could appear in court at my trial without me being present. This meant that I would not miss a day of work which made me extremely happy. To make a long story short, Mr. Remington had my Reckless Driving charge (a class 1 misdemeanor) reduced to Defective Speedometer (an infraction). No points were placed on my driver’s license and this is viewed as a non-moving traffic infraction. The Riley & Wells law firm did an outstanding job providing me with professional legal representation. In the near future, I am going to pay my good fortune forward by paying the Riley & Wells representation fee for someone less fortunate.
