Matt Long is an excellent attorney! He kept me informed on every aspect of my case. I was able to have steady communication and all questions I had, if any answered in a timely manner. I definitely recommend this team and my attorney. I know who I will call if I ever need a personal injury lawyer again....

I'd give zero stars if I could. I had a very poor experience with Nupur Bal. She told me, before I hired her, that I would owe my wife nothing based on how short our 2 year marriage has been and based on the accurate financial status of the two of us that I described to her. Once she was hired ($3,000 retainer and a second $5,000 retainer and over $4,000 in expenses [on top of burning through 100% of both of those retainers]), the financial information came in from my wife and I (just as I had told her it would), in my wife's lawsuit against me for spousal support, Nupur changed her tune and said I would at least owe my wife $1,700 a month for 18 months. Despite that I had taken a pay cut so if anything I should have owed less, not more. I pushed back, wanting to get a number I could actually afford, and as I had been sending my wife money anyway (I don't want a divorce, I still want to heal things); the alimony doesn't bother me too much I would happily continue to support my wife and had been doing so already, but I wanted it to be a reasonable amount and to supplement it when I could with more. In the run up to the court date, opposing counsel waited till last minute to make any offers, Nupur refused to implement the counter offers I wanted to make, or take any of my input; she eventually threatened to wait until court to resign from representing me in front of the judge (just to worsen my case for me), all because I would not sign an agreement that would bankrupt me. My wife and I ended up settling for $1,300 a month for 12 months, which I can just barely afford. - Nupur sent emails to me which were supposed to be sent to opposing counsel, her excuse: she was driving to a court for another client's case when she sent that email (so she admitted to billing a client for travel while simultaneously billing me for working on my case because she illegally used her phone to send emails while driving), and it was 9:00am "early" in the morning so she was tired. - Nupur's paralegal, Mary told me to sign the final settlement without reading it first because she had read it for me. Horrible advice, read everything you sign, which is what I did. - Nupur lied about the law and procedure of getting a divorce repeatedly to try and guide me to whatever outcome would avoid any court time (it is likely she double booked my court date with another client's court date and couldn't make it). - Nupur told me perjury on the part of my wife was not a problem and just a "big word" and that courts are not dramatic and no one cares if someone commits perjury. Which was interesting since her paralegal accused me of perjury and hiding assets, because she didn't understand how to read my bank statements (she litterally thought a header was a redaction, nope it's just a black line). That was a big deal to them, but the other side perjuring themselves did not bother Nupur nor her paralegal. Her paralegal did not communicate to her all the changes I wanted made to the settlement, so other than the alimony there were other terms that are horribly intolerable to me. - Nupur asked for a third retainer (of $3,000) to send one letter to my wife's attorney, which I refused to pay. - She finally threatened to quit in an email writing - the third time she had threatened to quit - to coerce me to do things I did not want to do. I paid her for her services up to that point. She sent me another bill the day after I had already paid in full, for work she and her paralegal did weeks after quitting in writing. - I told the entire office of Bowen Ten not to contact me, because of their horrible service and they sent me several more emails, one of which was supposed to be sent internally not to me, in which I was insulted and called "a piece of work". Now I have spent over $12,000 on inhumane, horrible representation, where I was treated as the enemy while I paid her bills, in addition to that I owe my wife a total of $15,600 in alimony because my lawyer coerced me to sign an agreement which I can barely afford, and she wanted me to sign one I couldn't afford.

Jamie Allgood is an exceptional family law attorney. Ms. Allgood represented us over the last several years in custody and adoption cases with excellent results. She is thorough, extremely competent, and very responsive. Ms. Allgood is also very patient and went above and beyond to explain complicated details and options to us multiple times, as needed, to assuage our anxiety. She made sure we understood every step of the process and expertly guided us through one of the most important life events for our family. I wholeheartedly recommend Ms. Allgood and the Bowen Ten law firm.

What an absolutely awful experience with Sharon Ten and this firm. She was the worst communicator in the world and clearly had no business taking on this case. She was never prepared, she rarely communicated with us, and she was always too busy working on other cases. She clearly bit off more than she could chew. We would go weeks without having our numerous calls and emails answered, to the point we had to contact other attorneys within the firm. We found ourselves constantly having to repeat things we already told her because she forgot, dropped the ball and never did them, or was just that clueless. We wanted to switch firms so bad throughout this process due to the lack of representation we were receiving. Unfortunately, it would have just cost us even more money because we would have to get our new competent attorneys up to speed on everything. After our case we ended up learning that even the guardian ad litem and other people involved in this case thought our attorney was useless and not prepared. I can't say enough horrible things about using her. Stay away. Even the handful of times we asked for our bill so we could pay it and not get behind, it took them forever to produce it. In the end, she got paid $24,000 and I don't even feel she was worth $2400. Biggest waste of money for the most horrible experience EVER. And I'm not talking about the case, I'm talking about our experience dealing with her and this firm. Throughout our experience, there was only one competent, helpful, and thorough person we experienced at the firm. Sadly, he had nothing to do with our case. He just felt bad about the way we were being treated and would go out of his way to try his best to help us.

In mid 2021, I chose Matt Long of Bowen Ten PC to represent me in a car accident case in which I was injured and required hospitalization. From the beginning, he made it clear that he would resolve my claim and that I need only focus on regaining my health. He did so with an in-depth knowledge of the relevant laws and the practicalities of working with the insurance, health, and Medicare systems to maximize my settlement in an expeditious time frame. Matt took the time to keep me informed each step along the way. By cultivating relationships with overworked adjusters, Matt cut through the red tape and delays that often occur in such cases. He worked hard and was determined to get the best possible outcome for me, which he did. He was ethical in his dealings, trustworthy, and highly protective of my interests. Hopefully, I will not have to go through this kind of thing again, but if I did, I would not hesitate to call upon Matt to represent me again.
