With Mr. Johnson's help, I was supported to make numerous decisions after receiving poor quality work from a contractor. With Mr. Johnson's guidance, direction, and a legal letter to my contractor, I had the insight I needed to take my case to small claims court and win. I was in a 5 year legal night mare. We were in a revolving door of one complaint going away and another would take its place. This had gone on for so long I had banks and other agencies coming down on me. Action had to be taken. Josh was recommended to me through one of the attorneys that was working on the case and the new issues that had risen was out of his arena. Josh met with me and quickly did his assessment and brought himself up to speed with all that had happened over the past 5 years. He immediately began to draw up resolutions to settled the matter I hired him on and the issues that caused the issue in the first place. After I was recklessly rear-ended in an auto accident, I was very lucky to walk away from my totaled car--it was not until later that my injuries became worse and began to manifest, but by that point I was already attempting to deal with the insurance companies on my own. Josh helped us identify and consider legal issues related to tenant occupancy of rental property, Virginia law re landlord rights and responsibilities vs. those of tenants, landlord recourse options if needed, and certain critical communications with tenants and rental agents. His information provided was very clear and understandable, very prompt, and the communications he helped us with were very effective. We enjoyed working with him very much and would gladly do so again.

Mr. Johnson helped us in a dispute with a general contractor who did very slow work with poor oversight of his subcontractors. At the end of the project there was a large gap between what we had already paid, what was "owed", and what we felt was reasonable to pay to settle the contract. Josh guided us through this very cleanly with a clear intent not to Nickel and Dime us with trivial charges. He had a good sense of how to negotiate the payoff and in the end saved us quite a bit of money with very little headache. We would use him again with no hesitation in any future legal matters.
