Mr. Shirkey has represented me on two consumer law related cases now and has done an excellent job. He is knowledgeable and provides realistic expectations of potential outcomes. In both cases he achieved everything I was asking for.

Mr shirkey was attorney for my son. He listened attentively to us. He had great analytical skills and communication skills. He was quick to come up with new plans as the judge, prosecuting attorney process changed. He worked hard at getting the most favorable outcome for my son. He also answered calls when we called him and offered to visit the jail when necessary to prepare a strategic plan for court dates. I would highly recommend Mr. Shirkey.

Mr. Shirkey is the best lawer I've ever meet. He always keep in touch with me about my husband's case no matter what time of the day. I could always call and he would awlays willing to answer my question and address any of our concerns. My husband had several cases and even one involving a judge. Shirkey was able to get him out of all the charges. He got even got the one with the judge dismissed. He is a really caring lawer. He's willing to go the extra mile for his clients.

I've got a bit of a record. Nothing monstrous but I've had a couple DUIs and several drug charges over 12 years and I've spent a couple months in the various regional jails. Mr. Shirkey was my court appointed attorney for the worst charges I've ever had against me, in front of the "notorious" (I'm being polite) judge in Floyd - a drug related probation violation on top of a drug related violation probation violation with the possibility of years of jail time. Shirkey achieved the very best possible outcome and I feel like I won the lottery. I have more confidence in him than I do for the attorneys whom I have retained for fees in 2 previous cases, when I was a richer man. I wish I could have the year of dread back while awaiting the hearing, but otherwise I couldn't be happier.

I truly wish I could give Hyatt more than 5 stars. He spent ample time with me doing a free consultation. He went over every possible scenario and was rigorously honest about every possible outcome. He thinks outside the box and was very thorough in all of his explanations. The call was dropped twice during our chat due to failing service on my end, but he called me back both times and never lost patience. He was sincere in his words and has a genuine care that feels lost on other lawyers I spoke with. I would highly recommend Hyatt for any legal needs you would have. He’s the real deal! The only reason I am unable to hire him and not make it past the consultation stage is because I did not realize he is a little over 3 hours away. He was just my court appointed lawyer, and he carried things with me and with my case with everything he had in his mind,body, and soul, as if I paid him to do so, and just for him doing that for me I pray that nothing but positive blessings and love come into his and family lives abundantly for the rest of there lives, Mr. Shirkey I love you man never forget that and always remember that.
