My experience with Brandon Ayers and his staff was outstanding in every way. Attorney Ayers is easy to talk with regarding your case, no matter how sensitive or uncomfortable your case details. Brandon and I became friends, and he always responded to my calls prior to court. My outcome was much better than I expected. Brandon is my attorney for life, as long as the Lord allows!

Disappointed doesn’t begin to cover it. Do not waste your time or money here if you have a family law matter. Was told my case would never leave his desk but each time I went Mr.Ayers didn’t know any facts about my case, was 30+ minutes late to every scheduled meeting, I never received an itemized billing statement as their website says they give. Was told my case was special and would be made a priority. It wasn’t. He failed to keep good communication, went in to court the day of my case & ended up making matters worse. I’m disabled and have been for 12 years… I now don’t get to see my child & was put on child support and continue to be railroaded all because I was forced to sign documentation in the threat of not being able to see my kid. Instead of using my actual income for guidelines, he went along with what the opposing side wanted without paying attention to the facts because “he was sick”. He tucked tail & did exactly what my exs lawyer wanted. No records from police reports, CPS files or medical documents were subpoenaed. I lost the visitation I DID have that I worked by myself so hard to get. It speaks volumes when the next day he tells me it worked out just how we wanted. No. He screwed me over & cost me and my family ALOT of money & ALOT of irreparable damage. I’ll now be displaced from my place to live because of his lack to provide “Aggressive litigation” in the court room. Wasn’t the representation I was sold that I’d receive. He was remorseful the day after, yes but then told me I shouldn’t make appeals to the court and let things sit the way they were for a bit on a custody case that’s been ongoing for four years and had me drop the appeals. Leaving me exposed to more litigation from my ex. Which happened. Didn’t keep me up to date on anything with my case and never could be on time for a single appointment made. I knew plenty about other clients cases, but nothing of my own. I also don’t believe it’s very professional of him to tell someone’s mother to “put a bandaid on that mouth”. If you wanna keep your visitation & not go through hell in family court, don’t use this office. I would’ve been better off defending myself. At least my case could’ve been heard instead of it being favor traded before it ever saw a courtroom.

I had a difficult case but Mr. Ayers worked diligently to get me a positive result and help me clear my record. Easy to talk to, understanding, real human being who happens to practice law.

I rarely write reviews, but this recommendation needs to be shared! I never thought I would find myself in a position of needing an attorney. A friend recommended Mr. Brandon Ayers. I reluctantly dialed his number with every intention of hanging up before anyone answered, but before I could do so, Mr. Ayers himself answered my call. He immediately detected my hesitancy. He listened intently through my emotional state of sharing my situation. He didn’t pressure me about making an appointment, but assured me when I was ready, he would be there every step of the way. I made the appointment; he kept his word! He along with his amazing wife who runs the office were there for me, providing the legal counsel I needed, but also taking extra time to always go out of their way to spend time just talking, which calmed my nerves during each appointment! I never felt rushed or pressured to make decisions on the spot! Mr. Ayers will not take advantage of you. He is not only an outstanding, knowledgeable attorney, but also a family man with a kind, caring compassionate heart! He and his wife treated me like family. Their genuine care got me through some very difficult days! If you find yourself in need of legal counsel, I encourage you to reach out to Mr. Ayers, you won’t regret it!

Mr. Ayers was my appointed counsel for a misdemeanor issue. I work as a contract worker. Out of state. I was working during the court date-and spoke at length to Mr. Ayers about a continuance-which he said wouldn't be an issue, as long as I sent some documents. I sent them, and got a call on the court date. Apparently a habeas corpus was issued because I wasn't there. Now I suspect I know what happened-the highly pissed off plaintiffs or whatever you call the evil things, summoned witnesses, had like 3 or 4 representatives show up, and pouted. I wasn't there, and was asking all to return at a later date. The nice sensible judge with a heart was out, and a substitute judge stood in. Totally understandable-bad luck compounded and what happened happened. What I didn't like was that when Mr. Ayers and I spoke, he acted a lot like we hadn't planned and discussed my absence, and seemed to 'play dumb'. This raised my suspicions that he had somehow messed things up-i'd have much preferred an accurate play by play. I want to add that I've heard excellent things about Mr. Ayers, and when privately retained (paid), he really excels. I hate that when court appointed, there's a different code of conduct for attorneys, but that's really on society in general, not this practice. Ultimately I retained Anderson&Friedman to take over my case, as being a fugitive isn't really my season.

Mr Ayers was highly informative during the course of my trial. He kept not only myself informed but also my family as the case played out. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing legal counsel in the Roanoke area! He came through 100% for my case and will be my first call for any future legal counsel!

Brandon was wonderful durning my custody battle. I ended up up getting my child back full time after only 3 months of visitation. Thank you so much!
