I paid him on May 7th for a deed that he said would take 10 days. A month later no deed. I emailed, texted and spoke to his secretary that says everyday she hasn't seen him or he is in court. She is the worst and its sad that he takes peoples money and doesn't provide the service he is hired to do!

Jeff was on a case and charged food for not only himself but his partners for days had us deliver and was never paid! Call repeatedly with no payment yet. Don’t extend credit to this man!!! Get money up front .

Had a case where the Ex claimed abuse had video evidence he never got, statements on her part proving it was a lie. Seems he was more for the Commonwealth Molly then his actual client...DO NOT USE !!!

DO NOT RECOMMEND. jeff dorsey was my court appointed lawyer but never returned my initial calls so I went ahead and hired my own private lawyer. i never even spoke with mr. dorsey, let alone a secretary, but he still charged me at the court for his services.

Mr. Dorsey is an exceptional attorney. He not only knew the Law, but implemented the law on my behalf. Divorce can be a life altering event. A crisis. Mr. Dorsey charged a minimum fee for a maximum lifetime benefit. I am very grateful to him. Thank you Mr. Dorsey!

No phone calls returned, nothing, have to go office which you get charged for and only there less than 10 minutes. Paper work never completed, still waiting and its been years!!!

Never answers phone calls. Did not do ANYTHING for the $2500 he was paid. Never again.

Jeff Dorsey represented me very well. I was in great emotional pain, and he was a true professional. He was a confidant and looked after my best interest. He was honest and hard working. I would use him again. I believe him to be forthright and trustworthy. Thank you Mr. Dorsey! His Legal Assistant Robin was a tremendously knowledgeable and helpful member of his staff.

i had him in a divorce case he never returned phone calls let my ex wifes lawyer do all the paper work and he agreed to every thing my ex wife lawyer wanted all he did was take my money. he waited till five minutes before court to do paper work on my finances asking me while in court what questions to ask. he will not fight for you .

It seems that Mr. Dorsey has a pattern of neglecting his clients. In the past year and a half he has done absolutely nothing for me in my divorce. In December 2011 I was ordered to pay alimony. By paying this alimony it made my income negative $666/month. Go figure. He said he would file immediately to get it reduced. It's June 2013...never happened even though I begged him to help. Still not divorced either. I have left countless phone messages and emails and all have gone unanswered and no return call. When I confronted him about his lack of responsiveness he simply said he could quit the case and send me a bill for his services. He had done nothing, so I told him he would have to send me a refund from the retainer I gave him. I took witnesses with me to nail him down on some things he said he would do. Never happened. Nothing. Now I'm dead broke and still in need of legal help. RUN AWAY FROM JEFF.

I hired Jeffrey Dorsey to represent me in a misdemeanor family charge in Oct 2010. I was visit VA at the time of the charge. Dorsey promised I would not have to ruturn to the state, and that he would take care of the charge- no problem. After changing my court date without notifying me, causing me to loose thousands in wages, I ended up spending about $2,000 more to come back to VA. And now that the case is "over" (he entered no lo contendere" plea, he has not answered or returned at least 50 phone calls I have made with questions about how the charge affects my professional license. Terrible lawyer, trust me, the extra $500 is worth all the trouble he will cause you- get a real lawyer!

I ALREADY FILE THE DIVORCED AND WAITING ON FOR FUND OF RETIREMENT AND JEFFREY DORSEY BEEN DRAGGING ON AND ON AND DONE NOTHING FOR TWO YEARS AND STILL HAVE NOT HEARD ANYTHING AND NOW I AM VERY DISAPPOINT.
