I found myself in a tough spot after being arrested and charged by the local Stasi. This was unfamiliar territory for me and I found myself in waters I had never swam. Luckily, Brian Latuga threw me a life raft and pulled me out of the water. He came highly recommended...and did not disappoint. He showed up at my bond hearing with little notice and was well prepared. He successfully argued for my release against the presumption against it. Once I was released, he went right to work ensuring I received the justice we are entitled to as supposedly free citizens. If your expectation is a presumption of innocence, forget about it. Presume you need a skilled and competent attorney and you will only then have a chance. Had the city had their way, I’d have been in jail for months until trial and sentenced to forced labor in a Gulag for something I was obviously not guilty of. He knows the local politics and players, which is extremely important in good legal representation. He walked me through all the possible scenarios and gave me hope the matter would be resolved successfully. In the end, he prevailed in a full dismissal! I can't recommend him highly enough. He has experience on both sides of the aisle and utilizes that knowledge to help his clients overcome the overwhelming stacking of the deck against them in a few of our local jurisdictions. He does it with tremendous financial efficiency and professionalism. If you find yourself downrange in your Police Departments ”War on Residents”, call Brian. Cooler heads will eventually prevail once the kids go to bed and adults sit at the table. Just respect the boys in blue, don't make your problems worse. Like most in the review section, I was facing serious charges and a lot of jail time (2 felonies, 4 misdemeanors, mandatory minimum 12 months in jail). Brian worked an amazing deal for me, which included dismissal of 1 felony, and a reduction of the other to a misdemeanor, with almost all jail time suspended. I can't thank Brian enough for this incredible outcome, he's an absolute life saver.

Reckless driving, 90 in a 55. Steve managed to get it reduced to improper driving with one of the most strict VB judges presiding. No jail time, no criminal record, no suspension of my license, and a significantly smaller fine. Best lawyer in the 757. He will now be my go to.

My DUI was dropped! Each case is different in all of the circumstances but I feel that I got the best result I could have because of Steve Pfeiffer. My job had me go into a 30 day rehab and a 5 year alcohol monitoring program so Mr Pfeiffer had my court date continued until I could complete 9 months sober to show the Judge that I was turning my act around. Which on a side note is what my life has needed for a long time. I intend to stay clean and live a great life, pay for my action, but no lose my job. Mr Pfeiffer was able to make the Judge see what was on the line and that I had and will continue to put forth the effort needed to become a better person. The state will get me for 5 days in Jail but I can drive and by not having the second DUI on record I am able to keep my job. God has worked in a truly graceful way toward me and Mr Pfeiffer. I will always be grateful for having him for my Lawyer and to have a chance to change my life. If you have been arrested and now need a lawyer you are going to worry about spending money on someone that you might feel is a gamble because you don't know anything about them. Well there are ways of finding a good Lawyer, I won't go into that, but I found Steve Pfeiffer and I am so glad that I did. He was extremely knowledgeable and forth right and encouraging about my case. When I was worried he reassured me that he would do everything he could to help me. Thank you Steve.

In June of 2022 I was charged with a misdemeanor of destruction of property. I was at the DMV, and as I was leaving, I used my foot to open the door. The door cracked in result of this. I was leaving to go print a utility bill for proof of residency, so when I returned, the manager told me that I cracked the glass, and that she had to call the police. To say I was distraught is the understatement of the entire year. I am a 26 year old woman, and I own an incredibly successful digital marketing agency. For the last month, I have been an absolute mess, and a ball of anxiety, about what the outcome of this case was going to be. This morning, Mr. Pfeiffer got the entire case dismissed. Words will never be able to express how eternally grateful I am for Mr. Pfeiffer and his legal assistant. I had a lot on the line that I’ve worked tirelessly to achieve, and all of that could have been gone in the blink of an eye, over an honest mistake. Especially nowadays, people look at law enforcement as people who are out to get them (i personally have NEVER held this view), but my assumptions were that he viewed me as a criminal, and was going to treat me as such. This could not have been further from the truth. The Detective treated me with kindness, respect, and understanding. He even would reassure me (within his bounds) to try to ease my anxiety. I am eternally grateful for both Mr. Pfeiffer and the Detective. If you’re in the position I was in for the last month, as hard as I know it is, please know that they’re are good and kind people who are there to help you. When you’re hiring Mr. Pfeiffer, you’re also hiring his reputation. For the 30 minutes I was in the courtroom, I could tell that Mr. Pfeiffer was incredibly respected by both the Judge and the Detective. I believe this goes a long way when you’re being charged with a crime. Mr. Pfeiffer, saying thank you just isn’t enough. Maybe one day I will be able to repay you for how much you helped me, I really hope that’s the case. Thank you for giving me a new perspective on life; because of this situation (and the incredible outcome I received in court), I am an even better woman, business owner, boss, partner, daughter, and friend to everyone in my life. In a way, I’m actually grateful for this situation. It was the wake up call I didn’t know that I needed, to not take anything for granted. Thank you thank you thank you.

Stephen Pfeiffer is definitely a 5 star lawyer. I got in trouble on a night out drinking, and ended up with 3 misdemeanors (drunk in public, disorderly conduct, and obstruction of justice). I contacted Mr. Pfeiffer after I spent my night in jail. The reason being how positive his reviews are as a lawyer.
