Alperin law has been great for our family. We love that they now can handle our trust for our kids, as well as tax and financial planning. Scott Alperin walked us through setting up our trust and took the time to explain everything to us, as neither of us are well versed in the law. He knows what he's doing and makes you feel confident that you can trust the law firm to handle all of your legal needs.

I would like to “THANK, LINDSAY FREDERICK and ALL of the ALPERIN STAFF LAW TEAM,” for their “ ENDURING PATIENCE and SUPPORT” in working with me in REDOING and CORRECTING my ESTATE DOCUMENTS.” They are truly a very special team. All CALLS and EMAILS were returned in a timely manner and each time they were always clarifying exactly what I wanted. People need to remember, when you come from different parts of the World; terms and phases do not necessarily mean the same in the State of Virginia. I am grateful they helped me to clarify what it was that I was trying to accomplish and at one point, because of the various States I have lived in and error had been made. Lindsay, was very understanding and corrected my issue with a NO CHARGE to me. Plus, it enabled her to correct another document that needed to be done because of my lack of understanding. ALL of this was DONE at NO EXTRA CHARGE TO ME. MEANING, 2- corrections had to be done to ALL DOCUMENTS. Extra copies were made and everything is exactly as I want it to be! We hired Angela Manz for our estate planning. It was pretty straight forward work and we had a lot of it already done from past experiences. We were given a time frame from start to completion of 8-12 weeks by Angela. Manz during the consultation. After we paid, we were scheduled for a time frame well past what we were told. We had to be firm with them about honoring what we were told in the consultation. They did agree. Surprisingly, we felt we had to be the ones to encourage the process along. Towards the end, we had to ask about when we’d be going over the draft paperwork, as our signing date was three business days away. The draft review was supposed to be a couple of weeks before that. We didn’t like that for the incredible amount of money we paid upfront, we had to call them to ask them to do the agreed work. We also felt we didn’t get much in the way of estate planning advice. After the initial consultation, we didn’t work with Angela Manz, but a paralegal who did not seem informed enough to give us advice on some of our questions. I think they will do a good enough job for their clients but I highly recommend a second consultation with another firm for comparison. We discovered, after paying, that their fee was almost double what some friends and family members had paid locally for the same basic work. We are relieved that what we needed is done and finalized now, but we were not confident during the process that things would be done correctly and within a reasonable time frame. It was stressful and not, as we’d hoped, reassuring.

My mother and I have had the pleasure of having 2 previous consults with Atty. Ryan Reyes regarding my grandmothers affairs. He has been extremely informative, professional and caring. I have found after he consulted with us and told us how a scenario would go, we found the advice he gave was spot on to what how he said a scenario would play out. His advice has saved us thousands of dollars on a mistake that I made and his advice has honestly been invaluable. The office has been extremely organized with preparing us for our consults. I want to especially acknowledge Amy Menzer - litigation paralegal, she is so KIND, her temperament is what is needed in this field. I have had my share over the last two years of lawyers from other firms and paralegals and I feel that we have had the best experience with Ms. Amy. She’s been considerate to what’s been going on and extremely compassionate. That just seems very hard to find nowadays especially in this field. People tend to get jaded with their jobs and Amy when interacting with her has never made me feel like we were just a number. I thank her for noticing what may feel like small parts to her but have a been a big deal to us and verbally acknowledging. We have not had any actual representation in court, hopefully we won’t have too but if we do we will sure to come back and ask for Atty Reyes if he would support us.

The law office of Angela Manz and her entire staff are phenomenal. They stepped us through everything to get my trust set up. The entire staff made you feel very comfortable answering all the questions we had. I highly recommend this office for all your legal advice.

Worked today with attorney Lindsay Frederick and her team, to update our estate planning documents, following our free three-year-checkup. Changes we wanted were made perfectly -- crisp and ready to sign. Great explanations as we worked, too! We are so glad to have partnered with Lindsay and her team.

I give this firm a 4 star review, the only reason I didn't go full 5 is because I didn't get a chance to use them in court (which I was hoping for) They're professional and knowledgeable and most importantly confident, not arrogant and off putting, but that confidence that comes from knowing your stuff and knowing you're better prepared than the other person. They're responsive and attentive to what you the client wants and not just what's best for their billable hours. If you have a legal issue especially as it concerns estates I'd highly recommend using them
