Sarah Nelson was the appointed Guardian ad Litem on a child custody case Involving my niece that I was the Guardian for the first 7 years of her Life . When I first met Sarah Nelson I felt she was Rude but she seem to want to be fair and Neutral. The case was difficult as I was the Aunt versus my sister who was the mother .Working with Sarah Nelson and CASA was so traumatizing I vacated my own Guardianship and walked away . She would say one thing to me in private and say something different via email with court officials and my sister . My sister was aggressive and Sarah Nelson was afraid of her because she filed a Motion against her to have her removed off of the case instead of either removing herself off the case she allowed me to be bullied though i would email her and ask her in private to not allow it and I was ignored . I am traumatized to this day and have been in counseling to make peace with this case . I am going to request that Sarah Nelson is removed off of the Guardian ad Litem list so no other family will experience what myself and my family experienced again. I would not recommend any Person to hire her on a child custody case and if the court appoint her as Guardian ad Litem protect yourself and put everything in Writing and Record every phone call with her so there won’t be any misunderstanding as to what she says because she will say one thing to your face and change her story when it’s time to go to court . For my own peace of mind I walked away and it was because of Sarah Nelson and I wrote a Termination of Guardianship and advised the judge . Word of advice if the Guardian ad Litem is doing things that you don’t agree with Speak up and tell the judge and request they are removed . I didn’t speak up to the judge out of fear of losing my niece but in the end It was mentally draining and traumatizing and I had to walk away without saying goodbye to my niece who I raised her entire life .

My Wife and I have used Ms. Mendoza’s service to accompany us for the Family Based GC Interview. Even though we had an out of state law firm who helped us filing, within a 3 weeks of short time she reviewed our case, set up consultation, take a mock-interview and give us advice. I specifically requested for the attorney Ms. Mendoza by looking at all of her raving reviews and she obliged my request. She was on time for the interview. She met us in the waiting area (Norfolk USCIS Office), made both of us feel very comfortable by talking about what we did the prior night, the drive and TV shows. We could tell we made a superb choice with her, as she knew almost 5-6 USCIS officers who walked down the hall and everybody made conversations with her. That showed us not only she know the law but also the Officers and how to approach them. Essentially that’s what you are paying for. She has a tad high consultation and retention fees but you get what you pay for and you pay for her expertise, experience and contacts. Our Interview itself was super lengthy (1 hour 25 mins) and deeply scrutinized on some unnecessary issues, even though our case was straight forward with no prior immigrational issues, fraud or financial benefits. The best part was we have submitted about 700 pages of documentation (proof) with our original submission and carried additional 400 pages of documentation with us. Ms. Mendoza carried all the 1100+ pages of documentation with her (sounds nitpicky right?) but guess what the USCIS Officer wasn’t able to view our original 700+ pages of proofs and we only carried the second set of 400+ pages. The attorney swooped in gave her entire copy (1100+ pages) she printed out and saved the day. The attorney also assisted us through email post the interview and genuinely cared about us. She’s very personable. Definitely recommend her!

Sarah Nelson at K. Page Kistler is the real deal. I'd give her 6 stars if that was possible. Sarah is super knowledgeable with the real world experiences to back it up. She under promises and over delivers AND communicates what's happening at each step of the process. Thanks, Sarah.

WOWZA! This was such an easy process. My Ex husband and I were married for four years when we decided to split up. Ms. Kistler and her team made it happen with only two office visits. Everything was written or explained in a way anyone could understand. The best part was that I received a refund check (from my deposit) with my notarized divorce decree and name change paperwork! I hope I never have to go through another divorce, but if I do these ladies have my business. 10 out of 10 would recommend
